Cool, good to know we found the glitch. I'm checking right now to see if the mir-port dokcing glitch is fixed or not. I'll report back in a few moments with my results. - - - Updated - - - reply to your own most recent post

I can confirm it is rassvet, at least for me. I launched ISS without rassvet and had no problem. - - - Updated - - - Yeah, i had to quit and reload to bring kerbin back - - - Updated - - - Yeah, I think i did.... let me recheck
-
Looks like it might be a problem with Rassvet. built iss in the sph one piece at a time, launching it to the runway after each piece.... no problem until i added rassvet. next ill try launching just rassvet as a test.. will report back with results Update: Yep, its rassvet. Launched just rassvet and kerbin ran away....

Well, I guess it's time for round two of my favorite game "Fine the Glitch"
-
Kerbin was going the moment i launched the whole station.... guess it's not me....
-
Great. Also, I love that shuttle gantry, it's awesome. When should that be released? Soon? A while? Not to rush you, I'm just curious.
-
Awesome. Hopefully that's what caused the problem with the Mir ports...

Last night I was able to narrow it down to a part of the truss causing the problem, which one I'm not sure. Here's exactly what I did: I launched the whole station into orbit with hyper edit, and tried to dock to the pma, no problem. Did the same with Russian ports, wouldn't dock. Then I launched the station without any truss parts and tried again, it docked just fine. So with the truss parts i can't dock to the Russian ports, without them I can....
-
I built the entire station in the SPH and put it in orbit with hyperedit. Interestingly enough, i can dock with the PMA, but not with the mir ports. also, when i launched only the russian half of the station i could dock to it just fine. My current theory is that a but with a specific part is causing the mir ports to bug out.... ill try to narrow it down.

Great to hear. Unfortunately I am having another problem, and I'm not sure if its a problem with the mod or a problem with my game.... I used hyper edit to put the station itself (pre-assembled) into orbit, and then put a progresses in orbit behind it. For some reason, I can't dock... I tried everything I can think of, including checking the persistence file. The best conclusion I can think of is that either the lag is somehow preventing docking, or there's a bug in the mod itself. I remember back when the ISS project was started, the PMA part had a bug that prevented all docking on any ship with a PMA part. That bug was squashed, but I think the same bug may have popped up again. If my memory serves me right, it think that bug was caused by the part having two docking ports on the same part. Edit: Not lag. i launched a new craft with a high enough part count to induce far more lag than ISS, and i was still able to dock with it. I'll continue my tests to try to find the cause. If it is an issue with the mod, i want to make it as easy for you to solve as possible.

I've noticed a few errors in the latest release, the first was already mentioned above, the nodes on destiny are a bit weird. They aren't missing, but they are rotated 90 degrees around what I will call the "pitch axis". Another thing is that the node that S0 attaches to is in the wrong place. Right now the node is on the same side of Destiny as the window. IRL, S0 attaches to the Zenith side (faces "up" away from earth), and the small window faces Nadir (down towards earth). Those errors aren't really a big deal, I jut thought I'd mention them. The one error that is very noticeable is an error with the SP1 trusses. After deploying them, they rotate around the "pitch" axis, where they are supposed to rotate around the "roll" axis.

For some reason I can't find Unity in the newest update. I've tried a fresh install with no other mods and I still have the same problem. When I revert back to the previous update it shows up in the VAB, but when I reinstall the newest update it's no longer there. Was Unity moved to a different category other than command modules? Or am I just missing something obvious? Thanks in advance.

[1.7.2] KK Launchers - Delta, Atlas Pack
sciencepanda replied to Kartoffelkuchen's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Awesome mod!!! I just foud this thread today, and its awesome. I can't wait for the Atlas V, I've been looking everywhere for a good Atlas V mod. On a separate note, I noticed something missing from the Atlas V 5xx. If you look at this video of an Atlas V 501 launch: https://youtu.be/chL1d9vWaWM?t=4m42s you can see just after farring separation, there is some sort of structure between the top of the centaur and the inside farring walls. This is probbably a completely insignificant detail, and it is entirely up to you if you want to add it. I just thought I'd mention it in case you want to add it. I for one would like to see it in the mod, just because I'm a fan of over the top detail. Thanks again for such an awsome mod. -

I really like this mod. I simulated EFT-1 a few times, but watching it live was so much more exciting than just playing KSP. Now. my next step is to simulate the SLS-missions. Anyway, thanks again for the mod. ps. My name, my real name, was on the chip that flew on orion today. -
looks awesome. I've been looking for a skylab mod for a while. My search is now complete.
