  1. Got the same Flowgraph error, didn't start happening until I added Procedural Fairing mod, and used it in the VAB. After I did this I got major stutter, and had a 1.5GB log file after a few minutes. Removing ScrapYard has fixed the issue again. Not asking for support (and certainly not uploading a 1.5GB log file) just adding a confirmation about the issue.
  2. I thought I would come back here to give an update on the bug I mentioned previously (unstable Mun orbits, disappearing ships etc.), for anybody who is reading this in the future. I have been playing since then (many hours) with a workaround and it appears to be 100% successful: every time on quit I will first manually save (f5 in the ksc view), then when running the game again I will load my career normally, then I will immediately load the manual save. I have noticed also that even without karkua (or whatever star we removed manually) my Mun ships DID still disappear entirely once. I think this confirms that the problem is a) definitely to do with first load after starting the game, so I'm assuming something about mods loading up for the first time perhaps, and b) probably not your mod at fault (other than that it reparents Kerbin, which would seem to be unavoidable).
  3. Yeah all of those are correct and I get this: https://imgur.com/a/n8gRo /edit: I found the issue: since I deleted the broken star (Krakua?) from the config but hadn't deleted the scatter config the update function was crashing out part way through, so no atmosphere. So my fault!
  4. I already read the guide, it isn't very illuminating if something doesn't work nor particularly detailed on what precisely needs to be done (what versions are known to work, what settings in scatterer are known to work, confirmation that no further setup is required etc.) I already had a working install of KSS and tried to add scatterer and EVE to it and it just broke in multiple different ways.
  5. Is there some guide on getting scatterer, EVA and this to work? I tried all combinations and have managed to get all white planets, all black planets etc., but not an actually correct result. /edit And now I can't get my Kerbin atmosphere back even after removing scatterer and EVE. /edit2 And now it just magically appeared even though all I did was tab out of game for a few minutes. Is KSP doing caching and/or background shader rebuilds or something weird like that?
  6. Okay I caught it. I have S.A.V.E set to backup on every save. I restarted the game and now I have three saves. In the first save (from when I quit the game) my test ships are in orbit around the Mun, in the second (when I loaded the game and it saved it automatically I guess) they are in orbit around Kerbol with totally different orbit, and in the third (when I force another save) they are around the Mun again. Also, not sure if coincidental, I got the "jiggly" terrain in the KSC scene for the first time and non of the buildings could be clicked on. Here is the saves and logs: https://www.dropbox.com/s/jg08ysd6eb4k4ct/example_saves.7z?dl=0 /edit I can work around this it appears by loading first then restoring from backup then reloading again. In other words this bug appears to happen on first load after restart only (in my limited tests).
  7. Sorry, I wasn't being impatient, I wasn't aware you were looking into it or if it was just a problem unique to me. Thanks for looking into it, and I am happy to test your changes if it would be useful. I already re-enabled the current version of KSS started a new campaign, used hyperedit to put satellites around the moon and, combined with S.A.V.E I hope to catch the moment where the orbits break, if they do.
  8. Could I get confirmation on whether the bug related to orbits getting broken when Kerbin has been reparented is supposed to be fixed in the current version? I am using 1.3.1-3 with KSS and am experiencing this problem still and trying to track down the cause, and most signs seem to point to Kopernicus itself (these signs being the bug being mentioned here multiple times, and in the known issues section of Extrasolar New Horizons).
  9. So can I assume that nobody else is suffering from this problem? I've basically been forced to not use this mod because having randomly broken orbits when also using RemoteTech makes the game very painful. I have determined that Kopernicus has or had a bug related to reparenting Kerbin, that also effects other planet packs (specifically Extrasolar New Horizons mentions it in the known bugs list). This being the case how are people actually managing to play with these mods?
  10. So I couldn't reproduce the problem, although I did find my older saves when the orbits were not messed up. I think perhaps it is some combination of the warp across SOI bug and something to do with Korpernicus, OR something to do with the order of initialization of mods where a mod is messing with craft orbits before Korpernicus has initialized and doing it incorrectly.
  11. I did, I posted about it in this same thread a few days ago! This is WITH Karkua deleted. When Karkua was there it entirely removed my Mun orbiting vessels due to collision with it. Now the vessels stay there but their orbits are getting perturbed to the point that some vessels have gone into escape trajectories from the Kerbin system. I looked back through log and I have noticed some vessels are transitioning to Kerbol SOI during load. I left these vessels in stable Mun orbits. /edit Just to be clear to delete Kurkua I just removed the cfg file.
  12. I have just noticed I am still getting Mun troubles, however now they take the form of orbits getting messed up to a greater or lesser extent rather than vessels outright disappearing. I am going to regress through some older saves and try and get something from the log file about SOI changes for ships I know are in stable Mun orbits.
  13. Same, I updated to 769 and it still totally fails to land at target on the Mun. I'm in a high inclination orbit at 20k, landing in the Kopernicus crater. It started okay and aligned correctly, then it just went into a constant prograde burn while trying to do a 3.5m/s course correction.
  14. Just edit your funds in your save file back to non broken levels: Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Kerbal Space Program\saves\<your career name> . Open persistent.sfs Search for "name = Funding" without the quotes, one space either side of the =. Change your funds there.
  15. It appears so. I played for a while, saved, restarted, reloaded and no issues so far. All I did was delete the Karkua.cfg file.
  16. I have this exact same problem! Here is the relevant bit from the logs @StarCrusher96, it appears to be happening during load (if you want the full log please tell me how I can provide it, it is too big for pastebin and I can't find the add attachment button): I'm going to remove Karkua and see what happens. /edit: So it is okay so far... I am getting a couple exceptions in Kopernicus:
  17. No, the problem (I think) is the aspect ratio: 3440x1440 isn't 4k (that would be 3840×2160), it is the native resolution of ultra widescreens at 21:9. My guess at what is going on: the window contents are laid out in a stack or flow (dunno the Unity specific naming for this), and the image is first, and set to scale to fit width and maintain aspect, then it will push the rest of the contents off the bottom of the screen as the window gets wider. Ergo my original suggestion to make the window scale to fit height not width. However now that sounds wrong, and probably you want to somehow get the image to do scale to fit available space after the rest of the content is laid out. Or.. just make the image a lot smaller!
  18. 3440x1440 Obviously this bug can be worked around just with a temporary res change, however I didn't realise I was missing half the options until I happened to notice a gov type mentioned that I hadn't seen!
  19. This mod looks great, just a quick bug report: in 21:9 aspect ratio the buttons on the setup screen (where you select government type) are off the bottom of the screen. I would suggest fitting the window vertically instead of horizontally.
  20. I did run into another problem: During simulation staging doesn't doesn't work. Right click menus on parts work fine, but space bar to stage doesn't. This is using a probe core with remote tech disabled or enabled.
  21. Thanks, that fixed my save and the problem has not reoccurred. It never occurred to me that the save would just be a text file!
  22. I wanted to use JUST the simulate part of this mod as no other mod seems to provide this but I have hit a problem: After installing to an inprogress save I changed the settings on load to just leave the simulation and mod enabled buttons pressed and the simulation works correctly. However my launchpad lost its existing upgrades. I though no problem I have enough money to upgrade it again, so I did so but it then reverted back to the base version again immediately. I tried once more same result and then I alt-f4ed. Unfortunately it had still saved the changes so now I have a non upgradable launchpad, no money and sad face. Any ideas about this?
