  1. Hey @maccollo I have a problem with your spice launch system mod. When I download the mod, I put it in gamedata_osx. The game starts up perfectly fine. Until it gets to the RS-25 engines. When it gets to those engines in the loading bar, it just freezes. Nothing happens for 30 minutes. ( After that, I just give up. ) I think it has something to do with the version of the computer, as mine was bought back in 2010. Also, if, I take out both of the RN something engines, I have the giant boosters and fuel tanks. None of them are displaying any fuel readings and they don't seen to give any thrust information either. The boosters also seem to never run out of fuel. MI have seen your SLS Launch One video and they seem to run out of PBAN after 02:02 minutes. Mine, run for... well, however long I want the launch, or should I say, ground booster test to go for. The liquid hydrogen tanks show no signs of how much fuel are in those bad boys as well. Or did I already say that? I don't know. Another problem is that there are two parts of the huge round fuel tank. You select the fuel tank and then drag out another piece of engineering equipment which I am guessing is a structural adapter that hold the RS-25 engines. ( Which I can't download for some reason. ) When I look at the huge orange fuel tank that is probably somewhat 20 meters tall, I don't see a little ( Or huge ) Green dot on the bottom. Meaning I need to attach a cubic, octagonal strut on the bottom, and THEN, only then, can I attach that huge price of structure that holds the RS-25 engines. Is that what you're supposed to do? Also, which one is the fairing base, and if you do find a photo, can you tell me why it is not working? I went through every single part and put those every single parts on a 2.5 meter part. None of them showed little or big green dots on the side which is where I would probably attach the fairing cones. So I also don't know why this mod turns out bad. @maccollo, don't panic. This won't mean I don't like your YouTube videos. I never will not like them. This will not affect your reputation. ( Hopefully ) So I would like a copy of the code. I have gone through all the things. KSP 1.0.5. It all matches up. The same thing happens with RPM. I got a huge post about how to download it. ( I'm guessing the person who made RPM is cind of a coding genius. ) When I download RPM, none of the monsters are there. Same with KW Rocketry. After a lot of times I have tried to download a couple of mods and none of them have stemmed to like my folders, I am starting to believe it is the computer that is the problem. After all, it is 6 years old. So yeah. I also hope this doesn't mean you spend 5 hours trying to help me. Just at least try to do this in your spare time. So, in a shorter ( Much MUCH shorter ) story, I would like to know... 1.) What computer version is best for this mod. 2.) A full copy of the code. Thanks. P.S. This took me about 17 minutes to write.   4. Pictures 1 One and two: Are you using infinite fuel? Picture 3: Turn the booster around about 150 degrees, drain some of the fuel out and you got yourself a missile! Dude. Even if this is more than one day in KSP, It's still HUGE!!!!
  5. Problem: I saw that photo at the top of the page and it would take a person that had been playing KSP for 7 years to land an aircraft with a big, bulky rover on the bottom. Here is a tip. I don't know the name of the mod but use a mod with working hydraulic Rams. Then, design an SSTO just like Thunderbird 2. Then you can make cargo bays and attach different ones to it. Son then you can go on different missions with different rovers. It's all from Thunderbird 2!
  6. Ok. Easy: Orbit the planet and leave some debris there. Crew must return home Hard: Must land on planet. You may choose if crew come home. Extreme: Land on the planet, crew must come back. Pros: Single launch, land on planet, crew must come home. And... They all have to be in... RSS!!!! Hope this give some good info @HebaruSan

  8. Drills on bases are very good. If a spacecraft comes in with an empty tank, you can drill some ore and turn on the ISRu and voila! You have a full tank!
  9. I don't know how to put in photos but I have put a base on Duna. Here is some info. 1.) If you are on a low gravity body, make sure you have a lot of control of the base in case you accidentally bomb your base with a incoming rendezvous ship. 2.) Make sure you have a good power supply and a fair amount of light during the night. 3.) Try and find a smooth surface. When you land, try and find a nice smooth spot instead of going, " Doyyyyyyy. Ok. Now I am in orbit, let's just kill my velocity to 0 m/s." No. Try and have a bit of fuel left so if you land on the wrong spot, you can launch again and try again. If you have a tall part, come in slow.

  11. This one is close to impossible. Here is the deal: You need to go to Every single planet and moon In RSS. ( Exept Jool. So YES. You do need to go to Eve. ) Rules: You are allowed to assemble your ship in space. You must check you have an orbital velocity around Kerrin of around 7000 m/s You have a time limit of 175 years. Mods that are acceptable... Docking port allinment indicator. KW Rocketry SSTU FTmN Nuclear rockets FASA Spice Launch systems RSS Deadly reentry Rastor prop monitor KER Realisim overhual. Spacex Lunch systems ( Anyone. I know there are different mods but with the same title.) You may suggest any other mods and questions are not to big or small. Anyone who actually gives me visual aids of them completing it, ( A video would be greatly appreciated ) I will follow them on their account! Good luck!!
  12. COOL! So some-one from SQUAD saw you play KSP? Boy oh boy would I be happy. Than you're really wasting fuel there. Oh. 'cause usually when you re-enter an atmosphere, the heat shield faces retrograde so... Ok.
  13. I have a few things to say about this post... 1.) In the 4th image, how are you going to get back up? 2.)In the 3rd image, why are you thrusting INTO eves atmosphere? It's already deadly enough. Rookie tip no. #48: When entering atmosphere, Retrograge. Not prograde. Also, It's not a good idea to have Sepatrons right next to solar panels. Unless you turned on cheats, go for it! 3.)In the 2nd image, I see you have a lot of ore scanners ( 8 ) Oh. Sorry. They are a.I.R.B.R.A.K.E.S. Ok. I think that's it... No it's not. Why do you need ore tanks? I don't see any drills. Why is Enginner dot the the first Kerbal on Eve? Bru? Usually, Jebbo is. He was the first Kerbal on... Moho, Dres, Gilly, Eeloo, Laythe, The Mun, Minmus, Bop, Val, Duna... That's it. But you are really not fit for this. I mean, I and more that happy then writing you a "How to play KSP For Dummies 101." Plz. The thing is, in real life, you would always have your pilot go down if it was a one manned capsule. I am just saying for future references that next time, kick everyone out and shove Jebediah Kerman in. Who cares if he's claustrophobic? Also, I can see you're using some sort of mod to change the texture of the Kerbal in the photo. ( Don't answer that. It;s a trick question. A. Astronaut complex does care. ) In the 1st image, why do you have your A.I.R.B.R.A.K.E.S. Deployed on the accent? You usually have it on the decent. Dude. You really need to make sure everything is perfect before you press F1. Otherwise, you get posts like these. Other than that, the only Pro I have for you is that you did a really good job. P.S.   14. Just a FYSI ( For your Scientific information ) These sorts of space stations are quite a thumbs up for reality as when spun around, it creates artificial gravity. Meaning longer holidays in space!!
  15. Well, the part where all the flames that come out of those thumper boosters doesn't make it beautiful. Just a personal comment: I don't really think that the thumpers booster flames are all that well animated. SSQUAD, if you read this post... 1.) Make a booster that lasts for 2 minutes ( Just like the space shuttle boosters. ) and... 2.) Just run over the graphics on the Thumper booster. @Evantitis
  16. The SLS hasn't been built by NASA. It should be in service by 2020. I'm guessing someone hijacked NASA's computer and looked at the idea. The SLS is capable of lifting 70 metric tons.

  18. Just an FYI: Areodynamic nose cones work on eve. Also, the mod Deadly recently is a very good mod full of heat shields.
