  1. *sees author* *immediately subs* I just binged from the prologue to Chapter 3, and I have to say: THIS. IS. AWESOME. MOAR!
  2. @Piper: If you really want simulations again, take a look at this: Over at the KCT thread, they recommend using KRASH instead, ever since their own simulation mode was dropped.
  3. True! The user below me is/has programmed/programming a mod/utility for KSP.
  4. First Flight has been taken down and will remain so indefinitely until issues with the new EULA are resolved. If you would like to read it, please enquire on the Kerbae ad Astra channel, #kerbaeadastra on Freenode. Thank you, @TotallyNotHuman
  5. [no data] The user below me has eaten a sandwich sometime during his/her day.
  6. Oh, no, you don't have to do that here. Speak your mind.
  7. Not all of us have access to a quality education. Most of us are nerds. And some of us get bullied and/or otherwise ostracized because of our nerd status (or for some other reason, of course.) Welcome to the "Complain About Your School" thread. Here, you can just vent out all the pent-up rage that you have for your school, and share it with the forums. (Just remember to not run afoul of the Forum Guidelines while you are venting, lest this thread be locked. ) Talk. I have a feeling either @NSEP or @StupidAndy will top this thread...
  8. Now I'm curious about your specs. I haven't measured my load times, and not to boast, I have 50 mods and 100 times as many patches as you do, and it loads in about the same time (I think). I'm also running on a 2-year old computer. I've gotta measure my load time later. 2:22.06 with 50 mods and 8403 patches.
  9. Banned for banning more than one person and then banning another person.
  10. Because as a business, they need to make money. As humans, they need money to buy food, pay rent, et cetera. Logical fallacy. You only paid for the base game; therefore, you are entitled to updates. Making History, however, is a DLC. That is not covered under the base game (unless you're an early adopter). Opinion, and a poorly constructed one at best. Having expansions that cost money does not automatically classify a game as 'ruined', to borrow your own words. Again, logical fallacy. See above. There's no 'should' about this. If you can develop a mod that has everything that this expansion offers, and do it without even considering about donations - then more power to you. Developers are not robots; they need to eat and have a shelter, as previously discussed. In short, stop whining like an entitled brat. As they say: vote with your wallet. Nobody is coercing you to buy the expansion. Don't like, don't buy. Simple as that.
  11. Umm. @Hegh, CommNet (the green line thingy) didn't exist back in 1.0.5. Also, the OP does not have RemoteTech (basically a mod implementation of CommNet, before it was coded into existence), so that's not the case either.

  13. Well, I just realized something.

When I posted the status update about me having been on the Forums for 4 months (and my birthday ), I was mistaken. I've been here for a year and four months.

Oops. Don't know how I got that mixed up.

  14. @KSK - regarding your suggestion about the formatting: yes, it was intended to be in a monospace font. However, the conversion to Markdown mangled things slightly. They will be receiving a quick refactor that makes Alpha's speech and all bold segments (which was supposed to be Courier New Bold) be in a monospace font instead of a proportional font, as is right and proper.
  15. D'aww thanks, @KSK. Nice of you to take time away from your writing to wish me well. Regarding the date - I had planned for FF to go live on Monday, March 13, but I completely forgot. So, I aired it on π Tuesday. Who knew my birthday would land on a Tuesday as well?

  17. It's my birthday today... and also 4 months since I joined the Forums! :D:)

  18. Yay VISTA! A tip for you: when using such designs, liquid hydrogen is the propellant, and liquid deuterium and tritium is the fuel. If you keep adding hydrogen tanks and the delta V decreases, then you don't have enough deuterium/tritium. Add some cryostats with those resources. OTOH, if you have only a little fuel, decrease the amount of deuterium/tritium in the engine until you start losing delta V. Then bump your fuel up a notch, and you'll have enough fuel without wasting any. Hope this helps, and good luck!

  20. Payload Name: MeteoSat 1 Company: Kerbin Meteorology Inc. Mass: 285 kilograms Desired destination: Low Kerbin Orbit Notes: No decoupler/separator required, as the satellite's bottom node is a Junior port (to facilitate future on-orbit maintenance if necessary). Enclose in fairing - solar arrays are very fragile. MechJeb case not included. OOC: I haven't designed the payload, because I don't have access to my computer yet. I'll update this post with the KerbalX link once I build and upload it. The payload will be mostly stock with only parts from Ven's Stock Revamp. Edit (still OOC): Oh, and Procedural Parts.
