  1. Well, I might as well throw my story out here. As a kid in elementary school, I was bullied. A lot. For one reason or another, bullies tended to pick on me, and gradually I became the punching bag of the entire grade. Several times, I was so depressed that I had suicidal thoughts. (But that's not something that I can elaborate upon on those forums. ) And then, I discovered KSP. It was just a little oddity my CompSci teacher bought for the class (in the form of KerbalEDU). I played once. I played more. And gradually, I played almost every class period. When I got home, I bought KSP. I remember that day clearly - it was December of 2015, a month after the 1.0.5 release, and during the Steam Winter Sale. Another month later, I registered an account on the forums. It's now May of 2017. I'm 14 years old. I've been a proud owner of KSP for 1.5 years. I've gotten pretty good at it (in my not so humble opinion ). I still get bullied, though I don't really care anymore. And I've become interested in SpaceX and the aerospace industry (as @TheEpicSquared mentioned above). <rant> Bullies, if you're reading this (you know who you are): you can all just go frak yourselves. Nobody likes bullies. Period. </rant>
  2. It seems like every forum-goer is changing their location to their coordinates in binary. So, I'm doing it too. :P

  3. According to this Delta-V map here: And this utility here: KSP Launch Window Planner by Alexmoon You will need (assuming you start in a low Vall orbit) 865 m/s to get to low Bop orbit and another 230 to land. For Pol, it's 945 m/s to transfer and 130 to land. You should have no problems tackling those two moons. Hell, you could probably go Vall -> Bop -> Pol -> Vall without refueling. 5 km/s is plenty when dealing with those potato moons. Tylo, however, is more difficult. You will need 1,125 m/s to get to low Tylo orbit, and 2,270 m/s to land. 5 km/s will not be sufficient in this case; you want at least 7.5 km/s to have a safe margin. Good luck on your Jool exploration campaign!
  4. Liked because polandball. Seriously, many hours of hysterical laughter have been provided for by the polandball community. So I say: MOAR!
  5. I'm sorry, I don't speak decimal, ModerndayLink1000000.
  6. I eat 3 pies, and destroy the pi-3 pies by rolling it into a ball and tossing it into @Ultimate Steve's face.
  7. Sorry, @Kerbiter. I completely forgot about my payload submission. Is there still a spot for me? If so, I can get that to you soon-ish.
  8. I eat the Italian restaurant. Wait, what?
  9. Here, you dropped this: , "Read This if you can. No zoom is needed. Not that it will help, now, will it." Bwahaha! I actually didn't use zoom. Looks like my eyesight is good. Alright, this is the ultimate challenge. Spoiler alert: the resultant text will be in binary. If you can decode this, also decode it into ASCII. Go.
  10. Pshaw! This is nothing 300% zoom can't handle. "Kudos to you if you can still read this out loud." I didn't read it out loud, does it still count? Also, it's supposed to be "Seriously, if you can read this, hats off to you. I can barely read it myself." And, for the ultimate challenge: Go.
  11. Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Kraken Bop wgah'nagl fhtagn - is what I said. Grr. As for my answer: ludicrously hard to read. trust me. this is going to be much harder than what you said. supercalifragalisticexpialidocious. NASA is going to build a new heavy-lift rocket. Falcon Heavy first stage is an SSTO. give it more fuel and power, and no need for second stage. Too easy still? Ok. 1nsid3r is 4w3s0m3. 14. @max_creative: it's actually not a mission report, it's complete fiction. But thanks! @DarkOwl57: 10/10. You write a lot. Me likey.
  15. If by 'y' you mean 'why is Libre/OpenOffice unable to open MS Office files losslessly', it's because the Microsoft Office file format is proprietary. Microsoft won't just distribute the file format of their documents to open-source projects, lest they lose profit to them. Therefore, they have to use black-box testing[citation needed] to figure out the rougher points of the document format. This gives them something to work with, but still won't accomodate more advanced users. For more advanced users, the option is either to use Wine or run Windows in a virtual machine and then install Microsoft Office on it.
  16. Right and wrong. They can open it fine, no problem. However, if you use fonts that are otherwise unavailable on the computer with Open/LibreOffice (such as a Linux system, where the fonts are all FOSS) and without a substitute (IIRC, Liberation Serif substitutes Times New Roman), they will be SNAFU. The same is true vice versa. If a document is created in MS Office, and then opened in Open/LibreOffice, it's possible that some of the more advanced formatting available in the former will probably render incorrectly in the latter. Some will render correctly, but probably won't have all the functions available in Microsoft Office.
