  1. I created my username by sitting in front of a computer for 15 minutes wondering what to use. Eventually I decided on KerbalSaver because that's something I always do, rescue kerbals. That and because I was tired of trying to think of a good username.
  2. It would seem this becomes even more relevant in light of the reaction to the 1.1 prerelease.
  3. It is now 52/48 in favor of KSP! We are pulling ahead!
  4. As of the time of writing, its 51/49 in favor of KSP.
  5. Personal values interfere with the goal of making the government extremely hard to understand.
  6. I thought Interstellar was pretty good, but I suppose it's not everyone's cup of tea.
  7. So, from the many reasons people have listed, it seems the Roman Empire suffered the same fate as Asimov's First Empire. Is this essentially correct?
  8. I also have no idea who you are, but welcome back!
  9. I opted for the highest quality possible: printer paper from an office supply store.
  10. "YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT USE OF THE LICENSED APPLICATION IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK AND THAT THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO SATISFACTORY QUALITY, PERFORMANCE, LEGALITY, ACCURACY AND EFFORT IS WITH YOU. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE LICENSED APPLICATION AND ANY SERVICES PERFORMED OR PROVIDED BY THE LICENSED APPLICATION (“SERVICES”) ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND" -KSP EULA. As you can see, you have no legal right to any updates to the version that existed in the moment you purchased KSP. In other words, SQUAD doesn't owe you a thing.
  11. Except there is no solid evidence that it is a pr move other than the speculation of someone who isn't SQUAD staff.
  12. I see no reason for SQUAD to keep that data if a system is in place for them to access said data in real-time.
  13. Its 30% that steam gets, not the other way around.
  14. @_Aramchek_ Except for how you ignored several already mentioned facts, and seem to think there is some legitimate reason for favoring steam users, everything you said is completely correct. /sarcasm
  15. It is attractive to outsource to Steam because: 1. Steam is a popular platform for purchasing games, and that gives KSP more publicity. 2. Using steam takes some of the load that would otherwise be on the store. 3. Steam already has the infrastructure to support pre-releases and high amounts of traffic, both of which the store can't do, or can't do very well.
  16. 1.1 Prerelease Info The last question in the FAQ addresses it.
  17. Just in case you didn't hear about it yet, SQUAD has stated that if they do a pre-release again, they will try to make it available for everyone. Hopefully this is visible enough. [Source: 1.1 Prerelease General information]
