  1. Greetings and welcome to the forums, @Kermagerd.
  2. I strongly agree with @5thHorseman - the algorithms google uses are superior to any website based search. Just type 'kerbal forum' first and then what you're after. i.e. kerbal forum fighter jet. You can also use the tools tab under the search field to specify time (i.e. anytime, past hour, past 24 hours, past month, ect) or a 'verbatim' search which is very useful if you are looking for up to date or succinct information.
  3. @NSEP I have read many of your posts and It is my opinion that you are an intelligent and thoughtful young man so the best advice I can give you is to be yourself and be comfortable about yourself. Is your crush interested in art or literature? Because you are very talented - If so, maybe ask her to a gallery or a reading. I think if you can find common intellectual ground then emotional content will follow but I feel you should take it slowly and let it develop naturally because as young men we sometimes intimidate young ladies by being too eager. I still remember that feeling of yearning when I was learning about love (I'm 44 - married 16 years) and I'm sure everyone goes through it in one form or another. These feelings are natural and it may cause you heartache or pain but it is an important part of becoming an adult.
  4. Greetings @CosmicCharlie - What kind of info were you after? Expanding the part information gives you most of the relevant data except for drag and you have an overlay for that.
  5. While I've never used remote tech, I seem to remember you need to "point" one antenna to KSC. If you right click on an antenna do you have any options to connect?
  6. I was just interested in the general effects but thank you. My imagination had me thinking that you would be walking on the walls at some radii and you would be spun off nearing the rim and so I thought it might be easier getting to orbit than a sphere. Very interesting about the center.
  7. You would have to drag me kicking and screaming. Not just because there's no air and going outside will kill you; No beer No barbeque No pizza deliveries Farts and other ablutions would suck - things astronauts never talk about No big screen TV or leather lounges No beer
  8. Greetings and welcome to the forums, @PrimoDev. It is difficult to maintain a satellite constellation in KEO. Did you do any time warping after the last time you saw your network? If you post the Apoapsis/Periapsis of each sat we should be able to see any problems.
  9. (Disclaimer - I am not a lawyer and I love Squad and all the people who brought KSP into the world.) If the game doesn't do what Squad said it would then you clearly have a case under the TPA which also includes legislation of implied warranty. It is a faulty product as anyone reading this thread would know. As to the specifics of who you would be ultimately liable - that is the million dollar question (and likely to cost as much to just find that out).
  10. Greetings and welcome to the forums, @phycotic_sock. If you have the steam version it will be in the steam/steam apps folder, if not you could use windows search function to find it. Just search your computer for KSP.exe.
  11. I am optimistic that the new console versions will be a success. I believe Squad got duped by the original porters (Flying Tiger) and Bitworks seems to be a far more reputable company. The bug squashing news from Squad has been positive and I will buy the console version as soon as it is released, for my kids. That said, users who have already bought it have a right to be salty - it has been a long wait. In Australia we have the Trade Practices Act which makes it illegal to sell or rent out a product that fails to perform in the manner it has been advertised. This overrides any legal document (i.e. any EULA or disclaimer) you have accepted in the terms and agreements. I'm quite sure most western countries have similar legislation to prevent advertisers and producers from overstepping boundaries. While I wouldn't advise anyone to begin legal action over a $40 game, in Australia you have that recourse available to you.
  12. Greetings and welcome to you, too, @Oliviadavid.
  13. Airbus's Perlan 2 It's a 2 man sailplane with experiments onboard. An in depth article here: https://www.airspacemag.com/flight-today/sailplane-stratosphere-180959154/
  14. I believe each like you give takes 24 hours to reset. i.e. if you liked something at 4pm and then liked 24 things at 6pm the next day you will have one like to give from 4-6pm.
  15. You should go there again and ask the residents what they know about the history of the area. You might find they are amenable to talking about the local history and might point you in the direction of someone who could give you permission to explore, provided the building is safe.
  16. If the Earth, it's magnetic field and it's atmosphere were compressed into a flat disk, say, 10m high and was stabilized (by ultrahandwavium) in that configuration; Could life exist and what effect would there be at different radii on the disk? Would this change the shape of Earth's gravity well and stability in solar orbit? How would this effect spaceflight?
  17. I don't really build fighters but I'm sure you can find what you need at KerbalX or you could post a request in the spacecraft exchange. You should check dependencies or requirements for the craft you want to download as some require heavily modded installs.
  18. @KSK You have convinced me that I was harsh with the moral vacuum comment and I withdraw it. I don't know enough about the man to make that judgment. I reacted strongly because I feel that all people, regardless of belief, should not be lied to - particularly for financial gain and particularly about science.
