Greetings and welcome to the forum, @Corinthas. I usually just time warp a few days until I string together a good mission series however there are many contract packs and mods available, depending on what you like to do (the second post in the thread gives a list of compatible contract packs): Another option is to use the debug menu (hold alt and press F12) to select or reject contracts.

Welcome to the forum, @GillyMonster. I can confirm that your posts are showing for me. I would suggest that you post your Issue with BDA in the BDA thread here:

Greetings and welcome to the forum, @gsanabio. I am not a veteran but I agree with Geonovast about the docking tutorial and with Earthlinger about Eve. The most important thing to remember is that there is a steep learning curve to the game but once you get up to speed, things that intimidate you now will become routine. To start with I would recommend installing an information mod like Kerbal Engineer Redux or Mechjeb if you have not already, to help you design rockets with more useful information than is available in stock. If you have any specific questions you could post here or start a new thread in the gameplay sub section of the forum.

I think that goat has played Arma 3 wasteland.

I agree with everything above and I am a stupid man. I left school in year (grade) 9. Do everything you can to expand your understanding of everything you are interested in. Experience has weight as does education. Try to understand others point of view, even if it differs from your own. Nothing good comes easy. I would not be drawn in by any electrical or chemical systems being touted at the moment as the science on these methods is not in yet. My experience has been; even a stupid man like me can try to learn something new every day and become less stupid.

The most kerbal flat-earther I have yet to see
James Kerman replied to KSK's topic in Science & Spaceflight
Apparently here is a video of him being injured an earlier attempt (unmanned launch) but I can't find it. http://www.scmp.com/news/world/united-states-canada/article/2121908/limousine-driver-mad-mike-hughes-believes-earth-flat -
No and no. Last clue - Bodie and Doyle.
-
No, they drove a ford capri and reported to a Scotsman.
-
No. It's an old show.

You're no dummy (sorry, couldn't resist).

Rovers are useless
James Kerman replied to Crampman's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
As with all things KSP some players will find them fun, some not. I don't feel it is necessary to give a bonus to rovers - they are just another tool in the toolkit and It is up to the player to want to use them. -
Greetings and welcome to the forum, @Unturned_Fighter. I really like the white/grey look of your site and look forward to seeing your Duna mission.

Docking orientation problem
James Kerman replied to Philae & Rosetta's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
I usually switch to the target vessel and have that either pro or anti target. It looks like the SS has no control or reaction wheels - you might be able to nudge it more into alignment by eva'ing a kerbal and using your jetpack but this will be fairly difficult. Quicksave before you try anything. I would try to give it a light tap and be ready to timewarp a little when it lines up with your space craft (the timewarp will stop the rotation of the vessel). -
What's the first thing that you do in KSP? Your first craft? How's it?
James Kerman replied to ARS's topic in KSP1 Discussion
When I first got the game I built a solid rocket that went sub orbital, I thought to myself - silly game and didn't touch it again until I started watching yt and really seeing all kinds of amazing things that people were doing. I became obsessed with making orbit and totally failed at it for 3 days, until, to my great surprise, I made it! I'm pretty sure my first orbiter had over 6000m/s Dv and was just about dry when I got there. The first thing I do in a career? Launch a Mk1 pod with 2 mystery goo experiments and no engine for the science. -
Greetings and welcome to the forum, @Goran42. I'm sure you will get to the Mun. The good news is that if you make a rocket that can get to the Mun the same vessel will get you to Minmus but if you have any questions, please ask. We are a helpful and friendly group, here.

Rovers are useless

Nah, mate - it was a polar elcano - lots of messing around to get around the water (including an 8km swim to see a monolith). The viewing angle distorts it somewhat.
