*cough* first thing said was no rover wheels *cough* Sorry, had something in my throat.

Went to Pol. Now figuring out ow to do the other moons. Bop has low gravity, so I'm not so worried. But Tylo and Vall do, so its hard to land especially since I have minimal oxidizer.... Any tips?

That looks awesome. How's the part count? -
So am I! @cratercracker?

Made it to Jool (barely). For the first time (apart from that one time I strapped a cockpit on top of a nerv.... (this we do not speak of)). Got lucky and did not have to burn to capture. Crew Picture on Laythe!

Never had a cat, but have had a guinea pig and a rabbit. Never fun to say goodbye. Condolences.

When for your final history presentation about something entertaining, you do model rocketry.

Please someone unveil the secret of long trip SSTOs

You don't need as much as you might think, especially when you get going faster. I saw a craft once with 2 precoolers and 2 intakes feeding 6 rapiers, and it did fine. So on that, you probably only need the shock cone intake. -
Sat through an almost 30 minute burn.... NERVs. Great ISP, terrible thrust. Also, starting a jool 5 attempt with that ssto, maybe....

Another operating system, developed by Bell before being forked or imitated into other things. Again, not super sure. Corrections are welcome

Linux is an open source imitator of the Unix operating system, created by Linus Torvalds. Essentially, it does what it says on the tin. Its an open source OS designed to act like Unix(another family of operating systems). The actual important part is the kernel, which is then used to develop the rest of the different versions of Linux, called distros. Not really an expert, just what I know. If anyone else wants to chime in, go ahead.

Pass me the save, will you? I need separatist blood on my hands. I might be a little ... disturbed.
-
You have my A-10, right? Feel free to borrow! A high dive might also work.....
-
Hmm. Okay then. What about chucking some engines on the front to flip the craft around after reentry heating? Like, literally stick a couple of thuds on the front to flip the craft over . Whatever the solution may be, good luck with it. Also - having such an expensive ship must be a pain in career...
-
@JoeNapalm - For reentry, have you tried using the inflatable heat shields? It looks like there are some spots where you can sacrifice fuel for heatshields... An array of 5 or so might be able to cover the front. Then just stick some fins on the back to prevent it from flipping. A bunch of radiators could also work, but then your EC goes quickly. Your choice.

Nice. notice there are two planes in the image, what's the one on the right? And the back?

You know that SSTO? Yeah, sorta turned it into a VTOL... Okay, not a true vtol, as it doesn't have enough TWR on airbreathing rapiers to properly convert, but close enough. Further testing reveals it doesn't like to SSTO anymore....
-
Stopped timewarping kinda in the middle of minmus... Not terribly interesting, but eh. The parts actually slowly exploded one by one, before KSP woke up and realized "Oh, there is a craft in the middle of minmus"
-
Took that SSTO on a minmus run. Seems to be fine, apart from the rover wanting to kill the solar panels.... Have yet to test reentry.....

Ok, so like this? And those back engines look like this. Don't think it would be a problem, right? -
Really? That looks like a gasoline explosion, pretty tame. Sure its not closer to this?

Ah. Pics are helpful. Quick guide - take a screenshot with F1 and an image is saved to your screenshot folder. Then use an image sharing website like imgur to upload those images to the internet. Then use the BBCode link, or directly link the picture and it should be embedded. By directly link, I mean use the one that ends in .jpg or .png or something similar. As for a docking camera, try maybe hullcam. It puts a camera in the docking ports. Don't know if its updated to 1.3 though.

That clipping rule is a bit worrysome... Is this craft OK? The wings do have fuel in them....
