  1. Mind craft file editing? Or part clipping? Then you've got yourself a (mostly) stock 0.625m, higher thrust, jet engine
  2. I believe there is a mod that only allows docking in certain orientations... Not sure where it is though.
  3. Worst case fix - look up the parts on the wiki after seeing what research you have, write it down on a list, and create a subcategory in career using the advanced build mode with all the parts on that list. There, now you have a parts list of all the stuff you can use in career! Terrible solution, but is an option...
  4. No, I'm on a PC. Actually, I should update that statement. I have used Scaterrer and planetshine, but that's about it. Though, if that is what the console version of Kerbin looks like, that might be a thing to consider improving...
  5. *Looks at mod list* *Spits out coffee* I've used almost none of your "essential" mods, excluding Scaterrer and PlanetShine. Also, I don't think integrating these would help performance, as you have stated at the bottom. The people above me have made very good points. Also, I don't believe that integrating mods is the right way to go. The mods already exist, so if we, the player, choose to integrate/depend on it, that's on us, not the devs.
  6. If you really don't mind sacrificing the pitch, can it be heated off? Like, with a blowtorch or something? In any case, good luck with fixing this minor setback.
  7. *cough* vessel mover *cough* Sarcasm aside, it looks very impressive. I can't really tell, but have you considered a stock elevator system or something to jack up the bridge then lower it onto docking ports?
  8. Pity its 1.3, I'm still clutching on to 1.2.2
  9. *poke* Triop, mind throwing all the craft I've mind against the thing? You have links. The best is probably the lightened f22 I think BDarmory likes a bit more maneuverable but not unstable. Otherwise, turn wayy up the steer dampening.
  10. Hmm.... Need help with this. So I have a helicopter that I have somewhat flying. It goes in the air. Problem Is, I can't control it. Also, it is horribly optimized. Can anyone help/ give tips? Craft on KerbalX. https://kerbalx.com/qzgy/Mil-Mi24
  11. Mucked about with turboprops and tiltrotors... It didn't go well. Then decided it was a terrible idea and worked on stock helicopter Probably a bit stupid, especially with 60 junos or something like that. And 10 blades (clipped into each other to make it look like 5, of course) Also finally figured out a good bearing. Its made of vernor thrusters, apparently and an rcs tank. Not the most efficient spacewise, but I don't care. And also need to edit out juno effects, and make sure the heli doesn't spin too much.
  12. It also looks utterly impractical. But I agree it looks good. Also, nice job on the rest of the craft.
  13. Hot. Really hot today. Unbearably for my winter preferring self. Thank god for AC. Apparently 33 C, according to the 3 day weather history for my area.
  14. Not recently, but I've visited the Goddard Space center a number of times and visited the Enterprise at the Intrepid Air Sea Space museum in NY.
  15. Then change the rocket to account for the performance loss. A performance loss is better than an overheated one. If anything, it might actually help your rocket, as then you're not losing delta v to drag losses.
  16. I once got a German Kerman. Let's not tell him/her/it was from Denmark.......
  17. Don't punch it/put the rocket on full throttle/throttledown when the effects appear/go higher first? These are all piloting/craft things. You can turn off atmospheric effects in the settings, but it will still blow up. You've only disabled the graphics.
  18. Hey.... wanna test mine? Let's just assume some pilot went rogue or something... https://kerbalx.com/qzgy/F-22-Bda-Lightened Send pics! Or a video!
  19. Yes, good book. Would recommend reading it, there's actually more info than in the film adaptation. I must say, he is incredibly lucky (plot armor anyone?).
  20. No. You really don't. Also, Cool! As for me, I started and finished The Martian novel. It barely took 12 hours. I started early this morning and finished in the afternoon. Good read, although not 100% sure about the accuracy.
  21. Have the ground units played checkers or chess on her wings yet?
  22. Are you going too shallow? You could be wasting fuel that way....
  23. Pics? Pics are handy. That shouldn't sink. Also, was comnet on?
