  1. Yes, it was Distant object that was causing the dim Skybox, thank you.
  2. Yeah I was referring to the Skybox. Thanks for the explanation. I do not have photoshop , I'll just stick with how it is.
  3. Sorry for the silly question, but how can I turn the brightness up for the background alone? is that possible? My monitor is not dim.
  4. My Space is REALLY dark, I can hardly see any detail, how can I lighten it like the video?
  5. I have Scatterer installed but it is not working. I am only getting the box at the start. Is there something I have to press to turn it on to make it work? I have the latest version.
  6. Could someone perhaps make a little video and show me how you actually get the Gemfx configurator to work on ksp. (Im using the latest version) I am trying it in 1.1.3. I cannot get any enhancements working and I dont see the split screen either in game. ( I checked the box in the configurator.) Im Running KSP 64 bit. Could it be perhaps this version is not compatible with 1.1.3? could you link me to a version that is compatible. Thank you. I have 1.2.2 but the latest version is not compatible either.

  8. I downloaded this mod and believe I done everything right, but, the screen does not load. and if it does load I only see kerbin. But everything is in the gamedata. Perhaps its the RSS- Textures that you are talking about.? what I did was I downloaded RSS- Textures, then, clicked on the optional textures and overwrote the main textures inside RSS-textures. I dont understand why I cant get this mod to work. would you be able to give me a print screen of your gamedata folder. Or explain to me what I might have missed. because I don't really know what else to do.

  10. I see enhancements on the terrain, but im still seeing the vanilla water. Have not seen the sunflare, I'll check it out. Don't know why Im not getting the smooth realistic water effect.
  11. I have done this now. I am still not seeing a changement in the water. Its still stock water.
  12. I updated KSP and managed to get GPP working on 64 bit. Now I cannot get scatterer working help!
  13. Since updating to KSP 1.2 I cannot get this beautiful mod to show up in KSP. why is this? I have installed everything correctly...but I am unsuccessful. Is it something to do with Kopernicus? The version of Kopernicus that Comes with GPP is not compatible with KSP. I'v tried other versions...to no avail...Maybe there is a version of Kopernicus out there that will solve this problem? The mod itself does not show in game and the planets have not changed. KSP remains Stock. HELP!
  14. I have 8k textures currently installed. Earlier I had 2048. The 8k has a big improvement on Mars. Earth is good too. Close up of Callisto's terrain when flying close by, the textures are not clear enough, with SSRSS the textures where fantastic. But as you said 1 pixel has to cover a larger area so its a stretch must be. (Also Titan close up was horrid. very blurry terrain, could not make nothing out. This is still in 8k) I wanted to try RSS to experience play in a more scaled version of the Solar System we live in. But it seems to me if I want really good clear textures I have to revert back to SSRSS! Don't get me wrong I love SSRSS! its awesome!
  15. I want to improve the terrain (up close), make it more realistic for RSS. When I was using SSRSS the Terrain when orbiting up close looked really good. With RSS that I am using, the terrain looks more artificial. Can someone tell me what I could do to enhance terrain on different planets.? Apparently in rss-textures I read somewhere that you can change/try different textures. How does one do this? Thank you.
  16. Also, the atmo (terrain/clouds) disappears and re-appears after I am at a certain altitude with my rocket.
  17. For Mars, what am I going to click in scatterer's settings?, what value do I put. Would I need to do the same for Earth perhaps as well.? What value could I put for Earth. I don't want to tweak too much, just enough to stop the glitches.
  18. Thanks so much! There is a big improvement with the clouds, I no longer have that glitch. When launching from the launch pad, I notice scatterer "Twitches" a little bit, I also notice the clouds seem a little flat when going out of the atmo and not as realistic. They also are a little blurry and my graphics res are set to full res/ high. There is some little flickr on Mars. Is there any way I can enhance the clouds/stop the flicking? Or these are just bugs I have to deal with. Could you provide a guide, Its helpful, Thank you. Over all MUCH better than before.
  19. Thanks for the reply. Here is what happened: I have managed to get ksp working with RSS installed. The problem I have now is the clouds on Earth are very bad (Horrid,not even Kraken worthy). I also encounter Scatterer making the planets flicker. Some planets are fantastic while others, such as Titan where fantastic until its textures came off. Please tell me it can be fixed!
