  1. This mod is insane. So wonderful. I spent three hours last night making insane stupid VTOL designs and watching your program go what over them. It got all of them into a stable vertical takeoff though which was amazing. My six a-symmetric twin boar design had problems reaching waypoints though lol. Super impressive mod dude I was shocked by the results. the era of VTOLS has begun.

I went into debug and auto completed that mission the one time it came up because I couldn't get the waypoints to register to complete the contract (I should have gotten the waypoint manager lol). Anyways I don't think it functioned correctly as I don't have the mission to make the casino that I wanted. It isn't coming up anymore though I wish it would. But to quote the epic Eric Jonrosh, "we have to live in the house weve build with our own two hands"

  5. This is a very exciting mod that I installed today. I think it's perfect because without it I have had to go into sandbox mode to test all of my spacecraft designs that I made in career (which is annoying). I used it today and made a simulation and sent a man into high orbit. I then pressed escape to end the simulation but the only option was to go to the space center, so I did. And then I checked this thread and realized that that was not correct and that I should have been given the option to end the simulation when pressing escape. I am running like 80 mods so it is probably a mod conflict or something but I am just giving you a heads up about this. I flew much more confidently knowing it was a simulation, however, and I got my man into space with plenty of delta v. Now time to bring him back down, hopefully knowing it's real this time wont make me shaky and get him killed. Thanks for the mod bro Edit: Also, the configs aren't saving. I just have an empty area for the configs and saving or making one does nothing. Also, when I go back to the space center from pressing escape on one of the "simulations" then what happens is the "simulation in progress" remains blinking on my screen permanently until I restart. I am going to reinstall the mod and see if that makes any difference
  6. Great mod mate. I've really been enjoying it. My favorite strategy is the heavy rocketry strategia that compensates for building huge rockets (which otherwise are neglected in stock career.) I am almost completely out of money in my career mode. I need to take a bailout as in the original stock administration building allows you to. But I can't because the stock administration plans are disabled. Is there a way to reenable the stock plans and use your mod at the same time? I'd like to have the options for both (if atleast just for bailouts) Are there any other options when you run out of money besides taking a bailout from the administration building?
  7. Curiosity killed the kerbal. And I'm curious about how many mods most people are using and load times they get out of them. So... Please post in this format: 1. # of mods in use. 2. approximate time it takes to load the starting screen. 3. approximate time it takes for a scene change (from space center to the VAB, for example.) Here's mine: 1. 67 mods 2. 26 seconds to start screen 3. 5 seconds from spacecenter to VAB My gamedata folder is only 500 mb most of my mods are small contract packs and whatnot. I love them all more than is natural for a man to love a mod and I can't function without them.
  8. I never use the Tier1 landing strip. It always gets me killed way too bumpy. I like to take the plane off road and usually the offroad is much smoother than the landing strip. I've found that you've got to give your plane like 5m/s downward velocity to land without blowing it up. So far I haven't had much of a problem except for the first dozen or so landings. But I agree that the landing gear is hilariously deadly.

I want to try all of the Realism mods. but first I am playing through the career mode with just a few (63) quality of life improvement mods XD. There is really too much to do with all the mods and stuff. I feel like I'll be playing this for the next ten years.
  10. I got KSP on GOG two weeks ago. I've been playing every minute of every day ever since. I played Orbiter in about 2001 and loved it and now I am loving this and it makes me want to go back and try Orbiter. Having lots of fun with all the mods. They are my favorute part of the game. I have 60 installed already. My favorite mod is time control because 4x speed can be a little slow in atmosphere like when parachuting down. I'm currently wracking my brain trying to set up a satellite network on the surface of Kerbin for the remote tech mod. (my orbital satellite network was a perfect square of four sats but the .007 eccentricity of their orbit had already made them FUBAR.). I like watching plump helmet punk and one f jef play ksp. IRL I am a badass professional MMA fighter/tattoo artist. Haha jk I love with my parents and go to community college. Just wanted to say howdy to my new forum! And share a bit about myself.
