  1. Sorry, but a lot of the criticism here is warranted. Squad and Flying Tiger are both responsible for putting out a shoddy product. It does not "run smooth" as you say, even though we would all like it to. While I don't think Squad or Flying Tiger were intentionally trying to screw us console players, they certainly made some questionable decisions. There are plenty of examples of PC to console ports that weren't a disaster. Elite Dangerous, Prison Architect, Ark, and Subnautica are all great examples. Not only did they get released into the preview program and run better, but they all cost less. This looks like a cash grab to me. They could have spent more time and money into developing KSP on console. They could have put the game into the preview program or they could have at the very least hired a competent company to port the game for them. There are way too many apologists for video game companies out here. Being a critical consumer isn't a bad thing you know. Just saying nice things, or not saying anything at all is not good for anyone. You understand that there is a difference between whining and legitimate complaints right?
  2. What really gets me is that KSP could have and should have been released into the Xbox Game Preview program. There are a lot more issues than the corrupted save. The game feels really buggy, unfinished, and runs pretty bad overall. Some of the scenarios don't work as intended. Switching between vessels requires you to go back to the space station. Textures and lighting on planets is horrible. SAS gets turned off if you use the cursor. Not to mention console players paid the same price or more as PC players for a game that is clearly inferior and lacking content. I thought that Squad was going to take a lot of the more popular mods and insert them into the base game for console, but that didn't happen. Overall, the game feels like a money grab on console. Looks like great fun to play on PC, but you guys really missed the mark on this one. PS. Already tried to get a refund from Xbox, but they wouldn't let me. Said it was too late even though the game is still broken. Too bad. This has to be the worst experience with a game so far.
  3. Squad has already put some of the most popular mods into the base game. Version 0.25 integrated the Space Plane Plus mod. In version 1.0, resource mining was added based on the Karbonite mod. Those are two examples which made it into the base game on console. That being said, what I was curious about was if we can expect to see any more content on consoles, whether that be in the form of mods, paid DLC, or a game update. Thanks.
  4. Thanks for the responses. I am glad to see there is at least interest. I understand it is a complicated matter, but it still isn't impossible. Paid DLC might be a good way to bring mods to console. I was kind of wondering if there was any plans to bring any more content to the console game period, whether that be in the form of mods, paid DLC, or a game update. I understand that some mods just won't work, but it seems reasonable that some could.
  5. Any chance we will see any of the cool mods on Console? Visual mods like clouds for Kerbin, parts mods like interstellar and planetary base systems, and winches, scansat, and the chatterer. It seems like some of these mods add so much to the game and that some were just supposed to be in the game. I know there is a small chance of this happening, but it is possible, so I thought I would ask.
  6. I would like news as well. The whole corrupted save issue is pretty game breaking. The actual game is great, but I am holding off on playing anymore because every time I have done anything major recently, it doesn't save. Kind of makes me feel that any hope I had for mod support for consoles is squashed too. Doesn't seem like they care too much. Too bad, it looks fun to play on PC.
  7. Just undocked and terminated the solar panel module. Didn't know what else to do. Think this might be the kraken bug. I will try again with a different solar panel design.
  8. If you press b on a fuel tank to bring up it's info, there is a button in the top right corner, click it, then click b on the tank you want to transfer to. Took me a while to figure this one out. Hope that helps.
  9. Just docked a pretty large solar tower to my space station and it has been vibrating pretty violently ever since. The station and tower were not vibrating at all before docking. Any ideas? Help?
