  1. I'm surprised none of the devs have commented on this. Seems this function might be missing/ been overlooked.
  2. Thanks. Although as buggy as the old port was, im a stubborn fool and still managed to build a station with over 300 parts even though the framerate dropped to pretty bad levels half way through , and my dreams of actually being able to use the station as a moon relay were dashed.Well i thought ive started now and the obsession carried on through to completion. (I've still got a few screenshots of the build ,it was a pretty cool design ,will need to see If i can upload them to here at some point. Not sure how id go about uploading clips /screenshots to the forum though. ) So yeah i still had fun learning docking etc on old port. Yeah to be fair the new port is running pretty well. And i personally am trying to give the devs their due , by not comparing it too much too old port and being realistic that there will be some bugs to be ironed out. Also there will be limitations on how big I can build on console etc. The main thing is there' more effort on the console side and i am confident we will see more effort this time around and more frequent patches/updates.
  3. I believe it's just the ps4 version that was not released in europe. Im on xbox and was able to download the old port. (I live in scotland) technically part of Europe.
  4. Yeah the ship spinning when you Eva is most likely trim being set. I also had this problem at first. Basically on x box if you press LB and a control input (ie pitch down/up A bit you will see a pink/purple indicator on the control hud bottom left. It effectively tells the ship /plane to keep pitching/rolling etc in the direction set (trim can be useful for flying planes) So just do a quick check before you go Eva if you see the pink markers. Then press LB+A ( L1 +X, on ps4)to reset trim and it should stop the spinning. Atleast that's what it is on cursor controls. Not sure a bout other controls schemes But it will tell you on controls panel if using different control's. Looking for set trim and reset trim. Hope this helps. As to the other issue , I've had the same freezing of the game. A restart usually does help. I would recommend making a save before every mission and a couple during the mission. Just helps to safeguard against crashes. And effectively gives you a revert for each mission even if youve had to turn it off /go to tracking centre etc
  5. Are you in career mode? I'm sure I got that one for a rescue contract. Makes sense needs to be a rescue.
  6. Vessel tabs is what your thinking about. They're off by default , you can toggle it by pressing LB+ back button on xbox. And it's not just the targeted vessel , it will also show you flags /other vessels you have landed/in orbit. Hope this helps.
  7. Ok thanks, so it' not just me then. Yeah I know u can switch back in tracking station. It's only really when testing a new craft that I find it annoying as you can't recover vessel after switching to ksc. I always do a simulation/test run with new vessels. Just to make sure they can go the distance. Also I sure there will be a few tweaks to things here and there. It's early days for this port. And so far I am impressed it's running very well .
  8. How do you focus view back to vessel after focusing on the mun etc? I've been having difficulty with this (having to switch to radial, focus view, then change back)on cursor mode it does not let you click on the vessel to switch view. Works fine on radial with right stick/r3.
  9. Just submitting a bug report/letting you guys know. On cursor mode there is no fine control when setting up manoeuvres.
  10. I haven' been able to find the control for this on cursor mode. ( I think this option is actually missing on cursor mode) I'm having to change to radial controls switch view back to vessel then change controls back. It works fine in radial controls. Or if I'm missing something could one of the devs comment on what I should be pressing on cursor mode.

I'm also curious about this I have the scorpio/one x (I hate the name, scorpio is way better, plus I have an actual scorpio edition so) But yeah would be great to see the extra power being utilized. Long shot,but maybe even pc version/ version with mod support. That is, if it can run the same as a mid spec pc(as it has been compared to by others more clued up about pc) then I think we could get access to a version with mod support/ just better performance at high part count. Also I've mentioned this before but it means you can get aroung the whole not being able to release a game on the scorpio if it can't be run on the xbox one bull. ( basically they've held back development of games that could be released on the scorpio because of the ridiculous one family policy. Imo.) Maybe something for the devs to think about. I'm really not too bothered about most mods, but tbh I think mechjeb/kerbal engineer ( the one with dv readouts etc)should really be a core part of the stock game by this point. Further than that then I can understand why other mods wont be added to console version. And would personally prefer to see more funding/development going toward a KSP 2. Also before anyone else tries to say there would be no market for a KSP 2. I believe there is a massive amount of people who would pay for a new game with better atmospheric visuals, base modules, kerbal attachments, more difficulty options like kerbal food and water requirements. Etc I could go on all day so I'm sure the devs would come up with plenty more things that could be improved/ added. Anyway that got off topic a bit. But yeah come on scorpio +pspro support please. I'll concede that ksp2 might be a pipe dream , but that won't stop me dreaming.
  13. Iv'e already restarted due to this happening aswell. Although I think it may have been my fault. Every so often I'll do a purge of my save games. I usually make a new save then delete all but a few of my previous saves. However on this occasion I actually deleted them all, including the persistent(which I never do, i try to be extra careful with my saves since last port) I always leave the persistent the quick save and obv my new save ,but this time I got the unable to load save thing you'e talking about. But like I say have a funny feeling it's because I deleted the persistent save. Either way just reporting this as a possible way for debug team to replicate this .
  14. Yeah I had this a few times also. Its because you are accidentally setting trim. Next time before you leave command pod have a look at control indicator (bottom left) and if you see a purple/pink marker there then you just need to reset trim (LB+A, on xbox cursor mode) Hope this helps i didnt even know trim was a thing until this new port. However now that I do it will come In handy for flying planes.
  15. Yeah I had this issue with old port aswell. When you hit load , as you say it does not load you back to the ship, it puts you back to the space centre. And i assume you are then having to go to tracking station and select vessel which again, as you say, be very stressful if just about to land etc It' a bit weird how it works but when it pops you back to space centre, do not go tracking station, simply load that quicksave/named save again and it will then load you back the the vessel. Hope this helps. It certainly worked on old port. (Don't think it's a bug/old/new port related just a wierd quirk of the game save system)
  16. Yeah I'm on cursor mode too. It's a pain having to go to tracking centre if it' just a test launch , as you then can't revert. It is early days for this new port ,so hopefully there will be some slight tweaks to controls moving forward. But if anyone does figure it out please let us know.
  17. Having an issue where once I select to focus view on the moon I cannot then focus view back to my craft or any other body. It used to do this with older version but it could be fixed by cycling through all bodies using LB +RB until you were focused back on your craft Does anyone know how to cycle through them with new controls ( I'm using cursor preset) Any advice would be appreciated thanks.
  18. Yeah I've had this issue. When in flight I like to keep my fuel tab open,which works fine until you hit the stage view button. It then locks out my controls as the little boxes are highlighted and moving left analogue stick just moves between liquid fuel and oxidizer check boxes. Hopefully this will be fixed soon
  19. Anyone figured out how to duplicate items in vab? Used to be LB+A. Not sure if it' possible now.makes placing multiple fuel tanks quicker.
  20. Oh never mind. For anyone having issues with new controls. Switch it to cursor mode. It is essentially the old controls.
  21. Has anyone figured out how to use hyper edit/if we even have it? I miss being able to adjust timewarp without using the cursor button top left. Also part symmetry count with LB +XB/YA It used to be I'm sure However , I'm just happy to be back into this game. I'm sure I will get used to the new controls.

Yeah I've read the patch notes, but as OrganizedChaos mentioned, I vaguely remember something being said about the debug menu being slightly less in depth.I assume everything else will be included though So just a little clarity would be nice. Don't get me wrong I'm still really looking forward to what we are getting ,even if the debug menu is somewhat less. I' just curious as this would make playing without mechjeb/kerbal engineer (whichever one gives you delta v and twr values) so much easier to test craft designs for other bodies.
  23. Can we expect to get some patch / release notes? Before release, Regarding if we will be getting everything contained in 1.2 update or if certain things are pc only. Like the debug menu for instance, unsure wether this will be on console version.
