I think you should also be able to match the orbital velocity of the ring particles to reduce stop the damage.

I think I read somewhere that the rings are pretty thin. (Tens or hundreds of metres?)

    1. yes, if you match the velocity of most of the rings, you should be able to see them float peacefully around your ship, which would make for some REALLY great screenshots
    2. yes they are thin, the main rings, only 30 feet (10 meters for you not imperialists) thick
  2. well i think that the planet should have rings. and i have an idea on what it should be like

one problem i have with KSP is that you don't have to worry about space junk, i mean, it doesn't register the fairing debris (yes i know this would cause some computers to RUD, but there should be something!) but what i think the rigs should be like is kinda like reentry, where when you are in an area of the planet's rings, you would have lots of little particles hitting your ship, so you would have to have something to protect you from the particles. an the damage you get, stays there, unlike the heat from re entry, which makes sense. an a way to stop computers to have random kraken attacks would to have the particles in a 70x70m rectangular prism (a stretched cube for the people who don't know) so your computer doesn't just randomly go boom

HEY THAT COULD WORK FOR SPACE JUNK!

  3. the fairings fit the relay antennas, so i really don't care that much....

but the relay antennas are kinda made after the deep space probes antennas, like on the Voyagers and Cassini. the reason that voyager used a unfordable one is because solid ones have further range and range reception due to the fact that the foldable ones are meant to be weak so they can be folded easier, the relays aren't due to them having a longer range.

...maybe @StupidAndy missed the part where we landed the Qwammer on Tylo? Laythe is all that's left. :)

    Also wrong.

dont think you have ever seen me fly a rocket, long story short, big, expensive firework...:)

Well, he hasn't gone there yet, so you tell me. :)

I think there will be a Final Battle near Laythe or Jool.

Laythe is special, because of it having an atmosphere, being mostly water, and having to worry about reentry (is it called reentry if you never went to it?) so if i was doing it (which i never EVER will be able to do) i would probably save Laythe for last

  6. I say that there should be a mod for weather, a mod, maybe an official mod, but a mod so it isn't mandatory, or kinda like the comnet in 1.2, where you can also just have it turned of.

but there should be something for weather, because i want  to have something like in The Martian where you can have a kerbal be blown away. right now the only thing i can think of that can do that is wheels.

but there should be something for weather so you can have it like a real space program, and have it like Spirit and Opportunity where you have to worry about the clouds for your solar power, oh and the clouds should have the ability to block Kerbol so you don't just land and say "oh yay! now i only have to worry about the planet"

it might make the game significantly harder, but it might make it more fun too, so you have to worry about more things, like remote tech, and life support so it isn't like you can just go out and say "yay! now i just have to get a VERY big rocket and all my problems will be solved!" you actually have weather that can do things, like blow away your lander (of course it has to have an atmosphere, so the only places would be Eve (which has enough problems already to worry about) Kerbin, Duna, and Laythe.

!UNRELATED TOPIC! maybe have something else for batteries and the RTG to have a lifespan, like on Voyager!

the kerbulan ship that recently blew up's debris fell down from the skies (is it still called the sky if there isn't an atmosphere?) and crashed into the surface of bop, making it feel like a big explosion to bop due to it being a massive cloud of debris constantly raining down for 5 minutes(?) and (compleatly theoretical) bop's material made it "ring" for  a quite a bit of time like one of the Apollo missions porpusely crashed their landing module into the surface of the moon and it kept ringing for about a hour, maybe bop is like that, but SUPERSOMETHINGIZED!

It's certainly an idea. Not the idea I had in mind, but it's not wrong, yet.

Absolutely not. This part is very wrong.

    And welcome aboard!

    YAY RECOGNITION!

    But anyways, Pol Vall Bop

I suspect you are saving laythe for last?
