  1. Startup screen indicates 1.3: I'll do a complete fresh install and try again from scratch - although I've already done that a couple of time. Thanks.
  2. Thanks for verifying that at least this is working for others. I don't know were to turn next on this. My opening screen shows ksp 1.3:
  3. I've checked and re-checked that a dozen time over the last few days. Still floating tiles when approaching ground from high altitude. I've trimmed my installation down to no mods except RSS and RSSVE related. I wonder how this is working for anyone?
  4. I"m still getting flying tiles using ksp 1.3, scatterer-0.0320b, RSSVE-1.2.2.1622-RC4. From what I can see, latest scatterer does not fix this issue. I've checked, double-checked, reinstalled fresh ksp but no dice. For me, I have no interest playing without RSS and RSSVE, but the game is unplayable with floating tiles. Just thought I'd mention before dumping the game and moving on. Thanks.
  5. Damn. Floating tiles still present! I just came back to RSS/RSSVE yesterday after absence because of this issue. I thought this was solved with scatterer-0.0320b. Am I overlooking something? KSP 1.3, RSSVE-1.2.2.1622-RC4, scatterer-0.0320b.
  6. I think you are right to some extent - although I also looked at some real images from space and the termination isn't quite as sharp as my first image, but also not as 'smooth' as the second one as you point out. Also, the first (sharp) example has that strange yellowish gradient at the termination edge. Thanks.
  7. That helped a lot. Now there is much more realistic graduation of Earth day/night instead of abrupt/sharp change. I"m launching from White Sands New Mexico. Date is April 2017. I'm not so concerned about lighting on the ground as I am appearance from space. Turning off EVE Integration solved the problem adequately for me. Thanks!
  8. I notice a sharp division between day and night. Is there a way to make the division fade more realistically? Thanks. Edit: Above using RSSVE-1.2.2.1622-RC4 and scatterer-0.0320b. KSP 1.3. Edit2: It's not just the planet. Everything is very dark that isn't directly exposed to the Sun.
  9. My understanding is that Kopernicus has broken Terrain Scatters if that is what you are referring to.
  10. I didn't realize you had already fixed. My apologies once again. I edited my previous post to so indicate. Thanks!
  11. I finally have beeen able to get RSSVE working with KSP 1.3 by replacing "Earth" with "Kerbin" in the RSSVE configs. Scatterer - latest version Kopernicus - latest version RSS - latest version EVE - latest version RSSVE - latest version. Modify the following files: city_lights.cfg, clouds.cfg, Earth_Atmosphere.cfg, Earth_Ocean.cfg, RSSVE_Scatterer_Planetlist_Config.cfg Now I have Scatterer ocean effects, clouds, no floating tiles, and everything looks good as it did with previous KSP version 1.2. Thanks. EDIT: Cancel above. Galileo already solved the problem and has provided a patch file. My goof.
  12. Thank you for clarifying. I apologize for my confusion on what the various mods do and how they interact.
  13. I did notice significant terrain improvement upon installing newest Kopernicus compatible with 1.3. Really brings things to "life".
  14. I'm not having any trouble with latest Kopernicus. As I mentioned elsewhere, I'm using EVE (not SVE) and all works well with latest Scatterer. I'm not sure what's missing/broken. I did have to move away from RSS because new RSSVE configs haven't been produced for compatibility with Scatterer and the runway gaps are even worse with 1.3 than they were with 1.2, but that another subject unrelated to this. Again, great work!
  15. Very nice job on the Kerbin terrain! Since I have a new install (KSP 1.3), I haven't checked out the other planets, but looking at them in map-view, they look great also! Thanks for putting this together.
  16. I had the same problem. Finally, I removed SVE and installed EVE instead (along with EVE configs). I no longer have that issue and I've realized I prefer the atmosphere effects from EVE over SVE anyway.
  17. Thanks. I apologize for not mentioning I am running RSS. I meant to, but I neglected.
  18. Not so easy; because RSS requires Kopernicus. Only way is for me to uninstall Real Solar System and all the rest associated with it and go back to vanilla game. I may do that anyway; given there are still some key mods that are not compatible with KSP 1.3. Thanks.
  19. I'm still getting runway gaps with KSP 1.3 and latest version Kopernicus. I thought this was to be fixed with 1.3? Thanks.
  20. I still have significant runway gaps with KSP 1.3 and Kopernicus latest version. The gaps are in the same places as always. I thought KSP 1.3 was going to solve this. Or is it that Kopernicus hasn't fixed it on their end yet? Thanks.
  21. How does one get the water white-caps effect? I'm using latest version Scatterer, RSS and RSSVE with KSP 1.3. Thanks.
  22. I hesitate to mention this, because it makes no sense (to me). Using KSP 1.3 with Scatterer 0.0300 I had the floating terrain tiles issue unless I turned ocean shader off - resulting in no ocean at all. I edited RSSVE_Scatterer_Global_Config.cfg and commented out the last line !Scatterer_ocean,*{}:FOR[RSSVE]:NEEDS[Scatterer]. After doing that, I no longer have floating tiles and I have the nice Scatterer ocean! Game now playable for me. Nice ocean, KSP 1.3, clouds etc. EDIT: Atmosphere effects viewing from space are too bright (compared to using KSP 1.2), but I presume these will be tweaked in due time as mentioned. Thanks.
  23. I find Scatterer v0.0300 unusable. Turning off the ocean shader removes the ocean altogether for me. Turning if back on, results in the floating tiles problem and makes it virtually impossible for atmospheric flying which I do a lot of. Thank you very much for maintaining this mod! However, I guess I'll have to put the game on the shelf until RSSVE is 1.3 compatible with Scatterer. Thanks.
  24. I see. Thank you for letting me know. I guess I'll revert to the older version with the "floating tile" issue. I might mess around with the RSSVE configs to see if anything looks obvious to my untrained eye.
