  1. yep, i don't know .. because obviously if the terrain is not showing up with EVE+ RSSVE and RSS, but is showing up with RSS+scatterer, that's a mod terrain modifier that could be the cause .. I tried to fly up to space, the ground and clouds were showing up, to about 140 km .. At this distance people have the "transition" normally, but I have the transition to full ocean ^^ I wonder if the scatterer config changes we have to do for it to work with RSS are that important ? because maybe the "distanceload" etc are wrong and the terrain isn't loading anymore, i don't know why these would be wrong in this install but .. the log is reset when you reload the game right ? because if not, i can try to find it
  2. RSS is running fine, i just tested it last night.. I think that could be a EVE/RSS conflict, or a EVE scatterer conflict.. I don't have the log so thanks for the help anyway
  3. Okaaay so, I just broke my install I think, the probes body don't show up in the vab anymore.. and i've re-done the install of RSSVE and i got the same bug, i have the good files because RSS and scatterer work fine on my other install: http://imgur.com/uyzYEZu

  5. What's RC3 ? yeah i tried but my framerate was terrible.. and i've read on the RO discussion thread that the .2... version of scatterer works better with RO than the .300 that so gorgeous !
  6. Hi everyone, I've read some of the first pages but apparently, I'm the only one to get this issue.. I'm on ksp 1.2.2, RSS and RO (the pre-release for 1.2.2) and I've just installed RSSVE, EVE and scatterer in the correct version (the previous one 0.2.... that works with RSS) However, when i'm in orbit, the earth is just a (beautiful) full ocean planet, there are no continents, or city lights.. I got the clouds and stuff but no lands.. Any ideas on this issue ? Thanks for this mod by the way, it is absolutely gorgeous !

Thank you no problem I'm gonna test the new version of SR released some days ago to see if the previous version wasn't bugged with my install Also, I never take care of it but when i was launching the game, the module manager log was logging everything in my gamedata every time i launched the game, there was no cache data or so.. so i removed SR two days ago and now MM is loading from cache ! that's quite strange i have to say ^^ EDIT : okay so that's finally working now problem solved ! just by downloading the latest release on github, i guess the previous was just not working on my install thank for the help anyway that's very cool !

  10. Nothing special i was building a simple 2 stages, with a payload and i took the J-2 and there was no nodes so i decided to investigate and see if i'm the only one to get this issue but nothing important really just wondering why i haven't screenshots sorry
  11. Okay thanks i know there is a trick to do that (to join two stages when the engine doesn't have a bottom node) but i don't know how to do it

  13. Hi everyone First i want to thank the autor for this gorgeous mod ! I'm having issue with the nodes on the engines, there are no bottom nodes to attach a decoupler to.. I tried to search very quickly if anyone report this here but it seems better for me to ask directly so am i missing something ? like using an interstage fairing to join the engine to the previous stage or something like that ? i don't know the trick here thanks for reading

Yeah that's quite strange ^^ actually i'm very unlucky (in life in general) so that doesn't affect me anymore ahah But yes i don't understand, the chutes are working because i've just made a first stage recoverable (like a space x one) I added some chutes, and no need to fire the engines on the touch down, because i was already at 4,5 m/s ...

  16. Ok thank you very much for your help, that's really cool ! Just a last question, to make a patch I just need to copy and paste that into my text editor and name it .cfg ? and that's it ? EDIT: that's fine, it works now thank you so much i've been searching this config for a while now !

  18. No i didn't change the root part, i made a vessel in 2 minutes just a capsule, a decoupler, tank and engine , then chutes and i get the 200 m/s on SR.. I will try to post a pic later

Okay thanks, so here is my log from the /unity/player : https://www.dropbox.com/s/u6lgx5hwit0virv/ksp log.log?dl=0 and yes I use it with modded decoupler, but i don't remember their name, i think they are KW decoupler that's a thin white decoupler and there is a black line on it, I'll try to take pictures when i can I can't try right now but thanks for the help i really appreciate

Okay so i've checked everything and i didn't make a mistake in staging or chutes stages, so i wonder what mod could interfere with stage recovery.. because i tested on a single stage (StageRecovery showed 87m/s final speed right here) , then i added one decoupler, put the chutes right on the decoupler stage and SR shows 200 m/s final speed
  21. Yeah that's very frustrating actually, i hope so we'll see, if someone find the answer i'll post it here so that anyone who have the same issue can fix it i'm on yosemite 10.10.5, and the version of ckan i founded wasn't up to date i think, which one do you use ?

  23. but i'm on mac, i can't have ckan, I tried ckan before, but it's not fonctionnal on mac (not the right version so all the mods like RO were not there ) so unlucky !

Hi I'm having trouble with real fuel and the stockalike config, I don't have spoolup time when igniting engines, anyone have the link to the other configs for real fuels ? since RO isn't updated yet, I don't know if there is one.. also Can I just installed Real fuel without any other configs? (like RF stockalike ) thanks edit: I tested with just real fuel and it doesn't work.. I don't know why i just have this instant power response, i think i may have to wait until RO is updated ..
  25. Yep I think I will try that, i'm in 1.2.2 RF is 1.2 updated but i don't think that is a problem on the RF thread, i found that : "Engine fuel settings are handled by the engine configs. Basically, either the RO configs or by the Stockalike configs" so there is a RO config or a stockalike (which i have ) So it appears that you can't just use RF alone in the stock ksp .. I'm trying to find this RO config but since the RO thread is no longer reachable .. edit: I tried to expose my issue on the RF thread before reinstalling
