@ManeTI Here's another problem you might want to take a look at... The picture is from this very thread, just one page ago. It tells me that there are "2+ new replies"... that I read and responded to (one of them is my response) hours ago. Even now, while writing this on the last page, I still have the text box.

Thanks!

@ManeTI Do you mean these two? https://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/103963-wip151-scatterer-atmospheric-scattering-v00336-08112018/&page=300&tab=comments#comment-3495220 https://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/103963-wip151-scatterer-atmospheric-scattering-v00336-08112018/&page=300&tab=comments#comment-3495220

Things like likes reactions and quotes, or being mentioned? I can't remember them being doubled, but that's not to say it couldn't happen. Most of my notifications are new comments, so it's most likely going to occur there.
-
Both refer to the same comment and both notifications are from the exact same time.

Try disabling the water shaders. If I read things correctly they're mostly responsible for the lag. Merely turning off water refraction also helps slightly. God rays are also in early development; they don't look that good as of now and can be disabled. Those are the settings I use, at least. I'm not sure if this is the best you can do while keeping the game as good as Scatterer makes it, though.

Sometimes notifications double up. Are there any plans to fix this?

@Tyko The save, if I can recall correctly, currently has no craft with a poodle above a decoupler. I'm okay. It was just a vehicle that I cheated into orbit for testing purposes that just happened to have this setup, and vessels built after installing the revamp should be good.
-
Ven's. Or rather: The updated version by @Kerbas_ad_astra that was made for 1.5.1. He redid the engine once again; changed the dimensions of it slightly. There is explosive potential behind every spacebar now, as far as the Poodle is concerned.
-
...Aaand now it's in 1.5.1. Maybe. I still have to check for incompatibilities, as I've seen that the Poodle has been completely redone anew. This may cause problems while decoupling old vessels (it's now slightly taller, so parts may clip).

A 64k demo... -

I made my Principia career, which is still in 1.4.3, Ven's Revamp-dependent. In other words: I installed it. ...And I had a lot of fun editing solar panels in the save file to make them line up again. For some reason all of them were rotated by 90° (they were the unretractable variant), so I simply retracted them via editing and then extended them in-game. Annoying, but it's understandable and it didnt have much impact. Aside from installing a part revamp I also captured an asteroid. (And I'm honestly clueless about this wobbling in the trajectory... What is it caused by? And this is not an error; it actually follows this path. You can see how it gets smoother the closer I get to Kerbin.) After getting the asteroid into a somewhat stable orbit (please direct all complaints to The_Mun@KSP.com) I ended up using the Mun to slow myself down. One of those times where the counterintuitive method of actually going further away brings you closer to Kerbin with less fuel expended. It only used 36% of the fuel I still had; a direct approach would've taken more than 50%! I don't know what Ven did to the parachutes, but I was cought quite off-guard by it. They behave very differently in comparison to stock, bringing me down to 50m/s after just being deployed, and to 5m/s after fully opening. I love it.

Strange. The microphone I mentioned yesterday does work on a different computer, just not on mine. I don't what it could be. Drivers, the port - it could be anything right now. Woohoo! Hardware issues!
-
Good point. I tried plugging in a microphone today. And that came with a lot of problems: - The microphone comes with a USB adapter that, when used, causes the computer to ignore the audio and microphone ports and only tries reading from the USB port. - While the adapter also features an audio plug, I have both speakers and a headset (the audio portion) leading to the same plug. In total, microphone and audio are too thick to fit next to each other. - The microphone port at the back of my PC seems to be broken, so if I want to use the microphone I have to use the USB port. While those problems could be fixed, the main and biggest problem I have right now is that the microphone is very quiet, even through the USB. I don't know if I'm just not loud enough or something needs to be configured. Sure, I could just increase the volume, but that would amplify all sounds, including unwanted background noises.

I don't know why I did what I did, but I decided to leave Kerbol via ridiculous, infinite-fuel-based rocket. Where did I go wrong?
-
Oh, that's what I thought. I thought you had some really important stuff processed/running on the laptop that should not be interrupted, and she (unknowingly) did.
-
Was there anything important done on the laptop at that moment? Or was it just on for the sake of being on?
-
...successfully?

totm aug 2023 What funny/interesting thing happened in your life today?
Delay replied to Ultimate Steve's topic in The Lounge
Well, in that case you could still compare original original and remastered original.
