I want this to be a thing.

Funds?
-
It only reads "DVD Video". That's all it says. And I might take a look at the program you linked.
-
What'S the ingame year at? You must have played for quite a long time then. @pleroy Would it be possible to - at some point in the future - rework the way history length works? The problem I have with the way it is right now is that I usually play with the history length quite high up (e+6 area), which works well for missions to the Mun and beyond, but if a vessel is in L(K)O for a while the history leads to a lot of lag and I have to turn it down.

Given that our DVD player has the VHS input as well I reckon it's quite old. Is there any way to determine whether a DVD is DVD+ or DVD-? So far it's only an explanation, not a definitive reason.
-
Yes. They play just fine on a CD/DVD drive on a computer. Yes. Again: Some DVDs are read perfectly fine. +/-? I didn't even know about that. That could be it. Is it possible to figure out which one it is?
-
Well, here's a real problem: Alongside the VHS player we also have a DVD player. (No, that's not the problem. I'm not against modern technology.) That DVD player is causing some problems: It accepts and plays some DVDs perfectly fine (though it loads for some time) but on others it just loads for a while, displays an error and spits the disc out again.

Yeah, doing things the good old way!

Our VHS copy of Apollo 13 is completely trashed. Noise everywhere and the picture rolls across the screen. You can't enjoy a movie this way.

For some reason the first my mind went to was religious extremism. Probably from the way he appears to talk. -
YouTube seems to have changed the way their playback window works a few minutes ago. The player's window size is now proportional to the browser's window size. I was really confused the first time I saw that.

.927c relative to what?

Looks like they have multiple cameras at roughly the same position on the second stage?

I just watched a movie... from a VHS tape! Turns out that my dad has tapes of quite a lot of movies that I really want to watch. Kinda sad that this technology is already dead. I'm still fascinated by how you can store image and (especially) sound information on tape. -

I'm convinced that tonight I saw a thin, faintly visible "band" going through the summer triangle. I'm pretty sure I saw part of the Milky Way for the first time. -
I didn't. I know that you don't. But I did assume that you were talking about Berlin. And in that case the vacation already began, your complaint would have made no sense.

I do. As a matter of fact I never was in the southern hemisphere. But I never actually found Polaris, either due to light pollution or my own incompetence. -

Just saw the ISS for the 7th time. Beautifully clear sky, the ISS was visible for a very long time. Also (for the first time) found Polaris in the night sky! -
I beg to differ. Summer vacation in Berlin started on the 5th.

Isn't that a bug in Scatterer? I don't think KS3P is the problem here.

Decided to work on my Principia career again! Not really that much happened today, I did a correction burn here, added a maneuver there and launched a small probe to land on the Mun. Since the mod now supports atmospheric flight, here's my standard gravity turn. It would be nice to see other people's turns; see what trajectory is best. The probe had 1800m/s of dV and I decided to use a low energy transfer to the Mun. Which ended up being a good decision, as I was very close to running out of fuel upon landing. This is what the probe looks like and I'll admit; This is probably the most realistic (or at least aesthetically pleasing in a semi-realistic way) looking probe I've ever done in this game. Making last corrections on the path... ... and a little later I got stranded on the Munar surface.

Gravity doesn't exist. Where's your proof now?

Can I ask which one? I was in Berlin with the rest of my class last year. Wasn't able to go up the TV tower, though. Didn't have enough time... That was one of the things I really didn't want to miss in Berlin. Be carefure with the credit cards, though. I got confused at their strange orientation. "Huh? Why is it not working?" I must have tried at least 10 times to get the stupid card in! -
Keep in mind that Cassini's launch caused a protest because of its RTGs.
