Sure, but is it (and this video) really applicable to a conspiracy theory that relies on people inside it to lack an understanding of physics? You can't educate these people. I once ran the risk of falling for a conspiracy theory because I didn't question anything and lacked understanding of physics. I just don't want others to go through this as well and, unlike me, ultimetely end up actually believing it to be undeniably true when it really isn't true at all.

Currently talking to a flat Earther who seriously thinks that a globe would predict visible angular seperations of Polaris throughout the year. I've calculated that the angle is only 0.000004794°, but - of course - he claims these measurements are made up. I'm getting frustrated at the stupidity of some of the humans on our planet. But they need opposition; otherwise they could simply spread their beliefs and claim "We're not hearing anything going against our theory, therefore it must be true!".

Just because it's under sea level doesn't mean Squad wouldn't (or couldn't) hide an Easter Egg there. They did the same thing on Kerbin, so why not on Eve, too?

Banned because that's... right? (meant for Fraston, but @kerbiloid is banned for responding faster than me)
-
Banned because you couldn't ban me if I wasn'T on this forum to begin with.

Banned because it is a polynomial with a coefficient of 3, it could be any value.

Depends. Between 160-300 km/h. And I guess it connects all the (big) cities in Germany? Frankfurt, Berlin, Köln (Cologne), Hamburg, Hannover, Bremen, München (Munich), Nürnberg (Nuremberg), why do some cities have a different name in English (Today's complaint, I guess), the list goes on... Not all in one route, though. ICE is not the route, but the name of the train used on it.

totm march 2020 So what song is stuck in your head today?

So I've recently discovered Conspiracy, a 64k demogroup (basically creating amazing audiovisuals and fitting them into a <64k executable). Here's one of them. -
You see, when you say "ICE" I think of the German high speed train (InterCity Express). So I guess my complaint for the day goes to the ambiguous name of an american railway system.

I either build calculators out of redstone or enjoy a strangely appealing overflow in versions older than beta 1.8... Haven't touched the game in a long time though, neither do I plan to start it anytime soon.

With that I meant the Large Hadron Collider, I think both words are synomymous...

Realistic animation of two particles colliding at CERN?

Tried making a small airplane today. And by small I mean size 0. This was the first iteration: And somehow I managed to get Jeb to clip into the runway ground... TWICE! He doesn't seem to have a problem with it, though... Anyways, the craft had some problems, so I had to redesign some parts. This second interation works slightly better, but it can't land, so I have to use parachutes to touch the ground safely. Other than that I fixed my SSTO! slightly... In orbit it had around 309m/s of dV left, so it's pretty much useless. It also becomes rather uncontrollable during reentry because the CoM seems to move behind the CoL as it burns fuel. It pitches up so badly that even with RCS it's barely stable. To my own surprise, not only did I manage to land this... thing, I managed to land it in one piece on the first attempt!

Why not?

Life is the largest rising Shepard "tone" we currently know of...
-
I know, but I was complaining about what I would consider premature use if "am". 12 pm as a "followup" to 11 pm would just make more sense. Instead, 11 pm is one hour before midnight and 12 pm is noon?
-
Banned because I never denied that.
-
Banned for banning someone with the reason that they banned someone in a thread all about banning.
-
Banned because the ratio between your posts and the posts of kerbiloid is 41.86.

totm aug 2023 What funny/interesting thing happened in your life today?
Delay replied to Ultimate Steve's topic in The Lounge
Today was the last day of a local funfair. We (my parents and I, because I don't really have anyone else) stayed there from 8pm to 12am. When it officially ended at 12am there was a funeral for the funfair, something I got to see for the first time this year. After that there were some fireworks. It was a pretty nice night! 359 days until it happens again! Well, I'm close enough to the arctic circle such that it is still twilight, so... -

Maybe one can cause the other? They might get interested in space after playing KSP! -
Depends on what part of Earth can be seen from there.

I'll be incredibly dumb right now: I have no idea what this is about.

Well, it doubled in size... Not really sure if that's such a big improvement.
