For ion you need xenon. If you don't want to replace the whole thing just clip them in.

I mean use small drones, or at least reduce the wingspan of the fighters. They're wasting too much space. Btw we just f12 our ships into orbit

Tip: make more compact fighters. Also why do you have landing gear. If the wing sections flop around, autostrut the ends of the wing sections in place. you could easily build compact ion fighters and cram like 8 of them in there.

Yeah I'd love if they added multiplayer too. Maybe not as much as if they added more planets and stars, but definitely a good amount. If they add that, then kracken drives would be a new norm in ships, in place of a hyperdrive.

I don't think it should count, considering it was one battle uncertified ship and one experimental. Also what happened to the 3 way battle.

dont scrap it. Just ask for special rules if your going to use it. Also, the structural plating isn't important. It's the frame that's important. The frame breaks, and the armor attached dies too. Here's a tip: don't attack armor or the frame directly to fuel tanks. Their too squishy. My ships have decent weaponry, but their armor isn't that tough. Also yes you can use auto lock with the sas. More building tips? Use girders as the fram. Have lots of redundant parts, such as probe cores. Don't stress too much about fuel, just use efficient engines, and don't leave important parts, like engines and cockpits exposed. With weaponry, you want it to be accurate, usually guided for that function, and have high acceleration. you want to use parts with high impact tolerance for the actual point of the missile, which is why people use wheels for that. The large ones have 150 ms impact tolerance, which is the highest in the game. Also, if possible make your ship mostly empty so its hard to actually take out anything important. Any more question, just ask. @MiffedStarfish I know why I lost. I only fired one missile. What was I thinking. Can I redo my turn to rectify my mistake? I forgot you could fire more than once.

No banned weaponry, other than heat weapons and ramming, and no mods. The number of ships and the tonnage is a mutual agreement between you and who you battling. We do a turn based system passing a persist back and forth. You need at least one image of your turn every battle. Nice to see you took my advice and came down here! Good luck! Well played. Could you help me with the armor if I sent you the craft file? I think the main weak point is the nose, as at that point the central spine is subject to extreme pressure upon any impact.

Yup that's why I'm replacing them it was only effective because it had a huge footprint on the ship it hit also I think it is very damaged because the missile went straight through the hyperion

Have you ever considered coming down to the Naval Batttle League? You'd be great there. Most people don't bother with interiors, but it's honestly not that hard considering most ships are empty aside from the fuel and the frame.
