will Mods ever be supported on console?
Most likely no.

How odd, my saves are perfectly fine.

I'm so incredibly disappointed in this "enhanced" edition. I bought ksp on Xbox when it first came out. The port was terrible but I still put countless hours into it. I waited for 2 years for you all to fix the game but it's obvious this edition was never tested.
I cannot save any ships.... At all. I hit save craft but they don't show up on the "open craft" screen.
I'm playing KSP "enhanced" edition on an Xbox one X on the radial preset.
Please fix this game......
I seriously doubt that it was not tested. Luckily a patch is planned soon.

Happy to help make my favorite game work, thanx bud, aslo Mikey117 helped too
The PS4 ominously, dosen't seem to have any bugs, none of these bug reports seem to be on PS4... as for me, I haven't even seen any major bugs.

From yesterdays KSP Weekly:
I interpret this as a yes for the DLC. I think I even saw it stated explicitly, but a cursory search brought up nothing.
Economically speaking, it would make sense in any case, as the DLC for console would provide additional income.
Good

Will we ever get some kind of dlc? If the pc gets it why should we miss out? I mean mods are a lost cause, so what about dlc?

I play on PS4 and the only bug I came across is some actions revert after doing them, like taking contracts or unlocking tech after leaving their respective buildings. Leaving you to reselect them again before they stick.

That's what the background looked like to me too!

So I’ve put a solid 10 hours into the new and improved KSP. After a little while of getting used to the slight but much needed change in controls (cursor mode FTW) I have to say, I’m quite impressed. The new lighting is beautiful and actually useful, the new SAS works so well now I could cry, landing legs can finally handle some weight and they even snuck in a few new parts on me. The Experiment Storage Unit is invaluable in early career as I can fill them with my science from Mun landings and leave them in orbit for later when I have a station with a Mobile Processing Lab on board. Commnet makes the game feel so much more real (especially if you turn off DSN ground stations and make it so you have no control without a signal) and Kerbnet is spectacular for future mission planning. I could go on forever on how awesome the new difficulty customizations are but you’d really just need to see for yourself. They’ve added new snap points for fairings which appears to solve the Apollo lander design problem which I’m thrilled about. There are so many more little things that I could list off but it would take forever. My only issues so far are minute but enough to annoy you. The trim is obviously a problem. I see it’s usefulness but it is way too easy to activate on accident and I would like a way to turn it off until I need it. Also, you can no longer zoom in or out in map view if you have the cursor out or if you are creating a nav node. The latter is particularly annoying because moving the map around can be crucial for getting those encounters just right. Over all, so far, I give KSPEE a solid 9.5/10. Hopefully these game breaking bugs I keep hearing about get squashed before I ever see them or my heart will break in two.
TL;DR: Awesome, awesome game, tiny bugs get stepped on.
I'm wondering if the ps4 has less bugs then xbox1
-
I found a very minor bug where the ship indicator would be off, but the target indicator still points to the ship. Also, there may possibly be less bugs on the ps4 then xbox.
-
What did the backround look like? Something like this happened to me but fixed it by restarting
-
So apparently, saves are still being corrupted, but i haven't seen any bugs on my part.
-
All they need to do is just give some kind of (DLC) and update it to 1.3

Having a problem with the throttle and trim. I'm playing the To The Mun 2 landing tutorial, but I can't fine control my throttle while correcting the craft attitude with SAS off. The problem is that for fine tuning the throttle, instead of only using the up and down D-Pad, you now have to hold LB (L1 on PS4?) and tap the D-Pad (although the opposite would make much more sense, I don't want to miss release my LB key and then having my throttle going 100% or 0% directly). But LB/L1 is also the trim hold key, so if I input a pitch up command while holding LB/L1 my craft will trim up, this results in me having the craft spinning out of control over and over again while trying to adjust the throttle.
This basically forbids me from flying a craft while fine-tuning throttle, being the total opposite of what a Hands-On-Throttle-And-Stick should allow you to do.
What preset do you use? I use cursor, and it works fine for me.
OH! I GET the code! It's .. .. .... .... .... ..... .... .....!

Thank you i believe i am in radial and i like it fine except for the throttle control. Got to say i am enjoying this game again.

That's what I'm doing, it's working fine for me! (except for a weird bug were the ship indicator is 100 meters away, but it still works!
-
I'm on cursor, (keeping it the same) but it's a little harder to work it. This will take a little getting used to.

Counting down toward KSP release in washington DC: 32 hours and 3 minutes.
-
will there be ground scatter? Ground scatter is missing.
-
By far the weirdest is when I got to play KSP 1.2 for ps4, but the loading process took so long I died of old age.
