  1. No I don't like doing serious maths wile playing. That being said understanding the ratios, and what exactly those numbers mean is daunting enough and being able to ballpark stuff in your head is pretty sufficient a lot of the time. Aside from that KER Doesn't really give you anything the game doesn't, just puts it all in one place. The parts could use some balancing/streamlining, but it does play well. Ever notice that when you fly with an engineer and no KER parts it still works! I'd say just keep the data available balanced with the tracking station/mission control level and it would fit very well in a stock game.
  2. Ok so first off I haven't read the thread yet, I'm impulsive like that. So if if this has been said before, my apologies. My game is chock full of mods and tools just to make the base game nicer. A few of them I've thought squad should buy this one and integrate it. But I Just tried out Through the eyes of a Kerbal and that impressed me so much, well I'm posting about it, Its such a natural extension to game, its well integrated, no setup just push C while on EVA. It felt natural to control with a keyboard, effortless with my steam controller, so I did my entire eva that way. And its intense! Got turned around at fist and lost sight of the ship, my heart went up with the urgency of the situation. latter I was working away at the satellite I'd just released and drifted back first into the ship I scared the bird I laughed so hard, not far away after all.
  3. Umm he's Mia, I kinda threw a fit and forced closed when the plane he was in crashed because symmetry broke on on me and only half my engine/control surfaces were set.
  4. While that's While technically true, The steam controller does emulate analog pretty well for the stick, and can be adjusted in steam's controller settings. Combined with Atmospheric autopilot (Not what it sounds like, think fly-by-wire. But it can do that to.) The result is very smooth.
  5. There is now 100 items in my game data folder thanks to you. I don't keep the MM licence files either.
  6. I accidently posted this in the Star Mod thread, I blame my phone. Copied from the other thread; This maybe a dumb question, but can this be used with the current remotetech? CommNet is just to simple to even consider. I probably wouldn't play KSP without RT Edit: Since you're asking for opinions. I think option two is the best route as well. You could make it so it's only as complex as the user chooses by simply defaulting to to the "Public channel" unless the user changes it. As a bonus it does solve the docking issue quite nicely. (Kinda elegant how it's built into how option two works.)
  7. @linuxgurugamer Surface experiment pack has one. I'm using it. It looks like it was built with KIS in mind. It even has a golf club.
  8. Nor am I, but its a silver cylinder with a hole in it. how hard could it be? Some moder could spare a few min I'm sure.
  9. Tried it out, and could not stop laughing. Its very well done, too well for my current game I was pleasantly surprised fuel switch worked. Tweakscale doesn't seem useful so no support is fine. Antennas didn't work with remote tech I think I can look at it. I was kinda expecting to find Duct tape as a KIS/KAS tool. Sadly there was none. Connected living spaces seemed ok as well, but I didn't check out the docking magnet yet. The configs just seem to be moving parts around, witch is fine never liked the tec tree anyway, I love that you can make them only show in sandbox mode like this. I wonder if CCK/CTT could make it any easier, i don't really know how that works yet. Overall I'd say it has a very Easter egg feel, it got me thinking it would be fun to spread this pack over a few popular mods that work well together, so you kinda build a set. Just a thought, just for fun.
  10. Omg I was in tears watching the video! How is This not a part of the stock game? Going to try and make this work with my mod list, post patchs if I come up with any.
  11. Dorpbox is in the process of getting rid of public folders, I was slightly mistaken. Turns out, f you you were using a public folder you have to convert each file in it to a shareable link to continue sharing. I've seen a bunch of links for various things on Dropbox go dark recently. That's what I get for not RTFA'ing to the end. BTW, Started a new career with OPM and this with planetshine. Very impressed. I Have an AMD dual core with R2 graphics a 6gb ram (Not even a potato, a turnip.) 75 or so mods (mostly tools, near future.) I wont say its great, but quite playable. Physics still flashes green once and a while. And ya, Kerbin is a little to blue, it kinda washes out the land.
  12. Hey This looks great! Just getting into trying to figure out a get laptop setup. There's a lot of recently out of date stuff out there. That being said, Dropbox has stopped providing pubic links, no more file sharing for dropbox users. Your mod is on growing list of unavailable mods due to dropbox effectively shutting down. May I suggest github and or spacedock that where all the cool kids hang out. Edit: FYI: @Starslinger99 I was slightly wrong about dropbox. See here, Also a really good alternative light visual pack. Since @parameciumkid seems to have been away for awhile.
