  1. i could have sworn that BDArmory had search and destroy contracts as part of the original mod, but it seems they have been removed? is there a way to re-add these missions to my game or any mods that would provide a similar experience? (i tried defense combat advisors but it was too linear and a bit janky)
  2. after a long day of testing and waiting for the game to load, i finally found the problem seems to originate from USI kolonisation tools, so i dropped that and everything's working fine.
  3. Thank you for responding, I really appreciate the help. I tried updating firespitter with the link you provided, but no change. How do I effectively search for old *dll's? Also I looked in the updated 1.8 log spot, still nothing.
  4. I'm having an issue with conflicts. firespitter and mechjeb are fine on their own, but together they cause the game to softlock on the "Verifying Expansions" part of the loading screen. I don't want to get rid of either because most of my mods don't work without firespitter and I can't get anywhere without mechjeb. I tried to find logs but this isn't producing any. please help!
  5. i'm having a bit of trouble with using this in campaign. i wanted to make a facility for producing crystals, but the cost of the crystallization module appears to be zero. and when i place it into the VAB, it reduces the price to -100000. help?
  6. love BDarmory! maybe make a compatibility thing with KIS and allow kerbals to hold infantry weapons!
  7. how about we start from the beginning. how is the correct way to install the files i got from downloading this mod? and are there any special conditions which prevent the mod from working?
  8. sorry i did not specify. i put the contents of the gamedata.zip folder into my gamedata folder.
  9. umm, the button to open the kvv window is not there. did i install it wrong? or was that removed?
  10. just... nevermind. i know how to open a simple application. i meant steam defaults. but i fixed it anyway. i found the problem was in my BDamory file. so no more posts on this thread

  12. so i'm trying to make a gliding bike. i don't know why, but i am. anyway, I've been having endless trouble with it, such as the bike not having enough lift after the sepratron ran out of fuel, and plummeting like a rock, to putting on too many reaction wheels on and one roll command sending it flying. still, the idea of having a bicycle that glides with rocket power is too good for Jeb to leave all the glory to GTA V.

  14. so i have a problem. ksp crashes when: launching from VAB/SPH, or reverting to VAB/SPH. i have 1.2.2, steam version, and i think it's caused by outdated mods, but no matter how many i update, it keeps happening. this is just a sample of a few bazillion crash reports. do you need the stack or any other reports? i just hope that this can be fixed.   16. two fails. trying to establish a minmus base with KIS and KAS. delivered crates, built rovers, everything was almost set up. it was a fateful day that bob placed the antenna on the base. he grabbed the tiny communotron from his inventory, and secured it to the lab. that was when things went awry. bob kerman was smashed into the ground and killed, because he was clipping slightly into the antenna. my camera zoomed away from the devastation, zooming in on a small survey probe. i looked in the map view, and found my base. in many pieces. leaving the sun's SOI. at three times the speed of light. if only i could make this into a propultion system.
  17. i just want to tell you all that this thread saved my bacon. i'm setting up a youtube series of KSP, and this glitch was the scourge of my recordings. after numberous fruitless searches, i found this thread. the game is loading right now. i will fix my game, finally! also, the glitch does not happen in flight if i'm using one of the stock command pods, and not a probecore. i am now naming a probe in all of your honor
