  1. A metallic hydrogen rocket was introduced. I know you can compress H2 into Solid Hydrogen, but is there any way to ISRU Metallic Hydrogen?
  2. It's an issue with scatter and small stellar objects from what I've gathered. Others have said, and I'm pretty sure, that It happens only in the tracking station.
  3. Landing gear will clip through the terrain and the vessel will continue sliding even on the slightest slope. Brakes do not work and wheels will not move the craft. This bug was found on a modded install, but I have met some players that have experienced this on complete stock. Stock and modded landing gear of all types are all affected. Linked is an example of what happens. This is not a friction control problem, If it were, the wheels would still move the craft and they would be on top of the terrain. It happens on 1.9.1 and 1.10.1, testing on 1.8.1. I must say that the issue mainly seems to occur on interstellar planets. 4. UPDATE: I have narrowed this down to being related to one of the DLCs. Not sure which one, but removing SquadExpansions from the gamedata directory seems to have, in my testing, rectified the problem for now.
  5. I got it, I'm really not sure what hung up the loading process on "Module Manager: Running Post Patch Callbacks" , but it's likely just as you said. What I can say specifically is that Baha SP prevented me from passing me through "Expansion Loading Complete" and the 2x1 greenhouse from LLL and light globe from KAS/KIS also prevented loading. I installed things in batches correcting as I installed and now it works, thank you for all the help! Its hard to get these all these mods to play nice together!
  6. Thank you for the help, that's really interesting. I'm certain that I am on 1.10.1 now if I wasn't already and I'm still getting the same error. Crash on "Module Manager: Running Post Patch Callbacks. Here's some new logs: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/jsh7cyny5umtykx/AAAY2Uoq93C4T7kC5JqhezCga?dl=0
  7. I'm on Win10 and KSP 1.10.1, linked are my logs https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ip5xfaq3cag4mv9/AACDuSdhl18Lf4qnveS7nIyxa?dl=0
  8. Do you know what might be causing this issue? Currently the packs I have installed are Galaxies Unbound, and your other two packs.
  9. This gear does not have friction control and I have tried messing with the spring/dampener settings to no effect.
  10. When retracting gear vessel jumps into the air. This issue is indiscriminate and affects many planetary bodies from different planet packs by different authors. Vessel slides on the slightest slope, and is not an issue with the brakes. The motors on wheels run, but the vessel does not move from it. Gear is from Kerbal Foundries, but I have had this happen on stock gear too. Really, this affects any kind of wheel/gear. I have found that the only way to alleviate this is creating a new save, but it always comes back eventually. At first I thought it was an issue with Kopernicus 1.8.1, but it is not. I updated today and the issue is still present. I know someone who has encountered this on a stock save, so I am really at a loss on what to do. 11. In a nutshell, how I do it is leave Kerbol SOI and keep on traveling until I get captured by the other star's SOI. Once you are captured, you can plot a maneuver node, but make sure you do it ASAP, as every hour adds to the dV needed to make the course correction. Once you're there, you will have to make a combination of braking and course correction burns to reach your final destination, that is, if you want to do it in a brachistochrone type manner. Once you become familiar with the mechanics of brachistochrone trajectories, you can learn to combine the two together, correcting your course as you're braking. My transfers are high dV though, to the order of 18 mil m/s, so I don't know how you would do this maneuver in a lower dV vehicle. Maybe just cross you fingers that you get captured? Make sure you have Better Timewarp mod. Once you leave Kerbol's SOI, you are locked to the fourth timewarp rate. Customize the "hyperwarp" options in Better Timewarp to get around this. Lastly, in the cheat menu (alt+f12) you must turn on "ignore max temperature". There is a bug where your entire ship will overheat rapidly and explode while in interstellar space. I actually made a video about this a couple weeks ago, not a textbook example, as there are some errors, and quite a long video, but here it is if you want a raw gameplay demo: Hope this helps
  12. Yes, that's what happens when my vessel lands below the terrain. If it lands on a slope it skates down it like its on ice. It seems that starting from a new career fixes it, and now the craft lands in the water with no problems. I'll have to test this more in the days to come, but hopefully this is the last time I'll see this bug. Will be sad to see my base go but this bug is game breaking in my opinion
  13. WorldStabilizer seems to have no effect on this and it happens on all planets. It should be noted that the stock system is Beyond Home. I have noticed that the ocean bug is isolated to that single craft. The terrain bug however is hard to intentionally produce, however it occurs more often than it doesn't. I can say that the terrain bug is not isolated to that same craft since I've had one different vessel completely fall through the terrain and explode. Maybe I have bad luck?
  14. Any chance at compatibility with other Kerbol system replacements, namely Beyond Home? When I install Extrasolar it seems to override Beyond Home's sunflares and eve clouds.
