I sometimes click F5 instead of F9 (RIP poor kerbals...Jeb is not coming home and probably not going to live) I've built horribly unstable ships in my early days of playing (god bless autostrut), now I build better ships (I hope so), but they're still sometimes unstable

What gameplay rules do you impose on yourself?

1. USI life support since I use heavily modded games so I include life support as well. 2. No Mechjeb for rendezvous and landing. I used this functions before, but now I'm more experienced I don't use them. I use Mechjeb only for interplanetary transfers. 3. No alt+f12 (most times) I use cheat menu only for problems like physics glitches, kraken attacks etc. and for creating my own kerbal (Raptor Kerman) 4. No space debris, I try to make most of my rockets reusable (1 exception being orange tank and srbs of my space shutttle copy) 5. Probes first, kerbals second, with CommNet of course 6. Still W.I.P. but trying to introduce limit on launch cadence (1 big and 3 small rockets per week for example) and turnaround time for launch vehicles (not launching 3 of the same rockets in one day (however I have 6 shuttles with different names to overcome this)) 7. No transmitting science, only recovery on Kerbin -

I like space and all things around it. The fact that it is also awesome sandbox game and you can do everything you want is great. I don't have any issues with docking or any other things. I also like wide variety of mods that ksp offers. However I really hate random kraken attacks that randomly explode my ships, this really makes me quit game instantly. Also it hits my GPU very hard (probably because my gpu is excrements) do I can't play on full texture quality

I was wondering if there is any other lore for Veronica ship other than it just crash landed on Niebos. Also in my savefile I have KSC view camera way above KSC (like kilometer or so), is there a way to fix it?- 2,452 replies

Today I designed small SSTO refueling plane as preparation for my upcoming colonization ship to Niebos (planet from GPO) and tested it on Kerbin, problem with this plane is that when full it can't take off just on rapiers so i have to use rocket engines for the initial boost. After testing I concluded that it flies pretty well, however it has fairly wide body, so landing is not that easy. Will probably redesign it at some point, because launch window for colony ship opens in around 1,5 years. Also launched my Space shuttle ripoff inspired vessel named Attila to complete 5 recovery contracts from LKO, should get me around 1mil funds. After first rendezvous with target vessel it started being little boring... but still its 1mil funds. Hope it doesn't burn up on reentry. Checked interplanetary transfer windows and one in only 3 days, so after I finish my space shuttle mission I'll look at it. I probably should start designing parts of colony ship and boosters that will get it to LKO, which I want to make fully reusable. At least I have some designs from my past games.

This challenge is so overcomplicated which makes it awesome. Sadly I don't have time to do it. Also turnaround time for lauchers is great idea, I think I'll implement it in my normal career playthrough -

Today I started (and finished) testing of my Duna lander to use it in career. It went to Duna well. Then I tried to aerobrake, it didn't went as planed because ti went to low in atmosphere, but it survived and successfully landed. Then I realised that my Mk16-XL chutes, that I need to help me slow down back on Kerbin, will be thrown away with engines and other garbage. So I terminated this ship and enjoyed killing Jeb and Bob brave Jeb and Bob were killed in action (sadly). But thank Kraken (and power of editing saves) I managed to resurect Jeb and Bob successfully. Then I deleted this save because nothing more needed to be tested...

I tried to create my Mun relay network to provide signal for my Mun base, but i did not succeed. At least my mun base has connection to KSC via My Minmus network.

Today I was thinking about my huge rockets which can deliver only 1 small probe consisting of battery, relay, and some rcs to synchronous orbit. Can someone help me avoid building huge rockets?

What i did today in KSP... hmmm... I have a mission report from my duna satelite. Status - orbiting Kerbin Time to Duna transfer burn - T-42 days Fuel - More than enough to get to Duna Mainsail engine - working normally MechJeb - Hope it will transfer correctly Crew status - No One ... its frkin satelite Solar panels - Did i deployed them!?!?

If you fall over on mun or minmus and have service bay on ship, just open and close it few times, it should put you back on legs
