I'm not sure why this doesn't crash on the loading page... win32 only gives access to so much memory. Try running in win64. If this doesn't work, try uninstalling some mods and download a texture compressor. Also make sure RSS textures are no more than the middle option 4000 by 2000 I think.

I have the exact same problem. After a while, I realized that RN_US_Rockets was the problem. I uninstalled and KSP is working fine. Unfortunately though, no US rockets.

Odd, You have ALOT of mods so I bet there was a glitch somewhere. I suggest an uninstall of Realism Overhaul and all its asset mods. Try installing just Realism Overhaul without some of the other stuff. If it doesn't work there is a problem with RO itself. Also, try a revert to 1.2.2. Then download RO. You also have a lot of upgraded graphics mods, they may conflict. Hopefully this helps!

Please update to at least 1.1.3 or 1.2.2 Steam reverts to 1.1.3 but not 1.1.2. 1.0.5 doesn't work for Steam unfortunately but I really want this mod! Looks great! This won't download in CKAN for 1.1.3.

Unfortunately I can't download 1.1.2. Steam reverts are only for 1.0.5, 1.1.3, and 1.2.2. I'll try though. Thanks for the help!

I would suggest running the game in 1.2.2 64 bit, more mods are compatible and more "kinks" are worked out. Also if you launch a huge ship it goes slower. Your computer specs look fine but see if ^ helps. I'm glad to be of service. Did you download from Steam?

Windows 10, crappy laptop very laggy... not bad for stock KSP though.

I have already uninstalled KSP and download 1.0.5 unfortunately that didn't work. The reason I'm having to download 1.0.5 is that Steam only gives 3 previous versions available to download 1.0.5, 1.1.3, and 1.2.2. The mod is compatible with 1.1.2 so CKAN won't install if I use 1.1.3. Next step for me will be trying to download the mod manually with 1.1.3. Wish me luck! Thanks for the feedback. Yes the Battlefront combat game. There are several available old as 2004. There is a new one coming out in November.

Mod count, computer speed, and computer power settings can effect the speed of the game. Also make sure you launch the game in 64 bit.

A mod I want to download RSS Expansion by pozine https://mods.curse.com/ksp-mods/kerbal/232931-rss-planets-moons-expanded-0-11-0 requires 1.0.5. Steam offers a revert but it wont work for me. It will download and say the version of KSP is 1.0.5 on steam but if I look on CKAN or Launch the game, it says the version is 1.3. does anyone know how to help? Cheers!

Hello, I'm new here but I've played KSP for a while. I'm also a huge fan of Star Wars and I am a discussions moderator in the Battlefront Wiki. I just now started getting interested in mods and I have had lots of fun with them my favorite mods are FASA, Half RSS, and US Rockets pack- when I use this one now, the game crashes. NathanKells RSS doesn't have as many moons and dwarf planets that I wanted, so I downloaded Half RSS also by NathanKell. It has dwarf planets and more moons and I was happy with it for a while. Now I'm kraving more- see what I did there ;). I want to download Real Solar System Expanded by pozine https://mods.curse.com/ksp-mods/kerbal/232931-rss-planets-moons-expanded-0-11-0. It adds even more moons, asteroids, dwarf planets, and planetoids. The problem is that the max version the mod supports is 1.1.2. I download KSP from Steam and they give you the option to play the game in previous versions 1.0.5,1.1.3, and 1.2.2. I had to revert to previous versions before for certain mods and I had no problems. In order to download RSSE I had to revert to 1.0.5, which I haven't done before. It doesn't work. when I try to download In CKAN it says the version is 1.3, the same is true if I launch the game. So my question, is there a fix so I can revert KSP to 1.0.5 on steam? Is there any other way to revert the game to an earlier version? Has anyone downloaded RSSE before and can give their experience? Cheers!
