Edit: I will enter this challenge, I love making massive craft. I have several multi hundred boats sitting in the hangar, I'm going to take flying boat way to literally.
The base are the ring fuel tanks, with whatever decor on top. A king could be the ring, an engine, and a command seat. Just make it look vaguely like a chess peice and it should be fine.

I fill the Ampersand shaped hole with an Ampersand made out of the fabric of the space-time Continuum. I probably spelled that wrong.
