Yes,but which place on Earth would you call center
-
That assumption should not be set in stone though last time we were in the same boat,we knew the date but not the actual hour
-
I'm wondering to start my youtube lp from 0 again or wait untill the mods are updated & do an intermediate series
-
I would say centuries since star dates are only implemented from the early 23th century,as for the steam question, for me it was more to be able to download KSP off the site onto a computer that doesn't have steam installed
-
I know, but say I wanted to get KSP on a PC with no steam on it & I don't want to install steam,I had done the transfer cause I'd hoped only 1 would have transferred not both
-
Actually after I transferred my KSP over to steam (I somehow ended up with 2 copies of the game after I bought it for the first time, but both got transfered),I bought another KSP copy so I could download it for use on PC's I don't have steam on

What"s wrong with being excited about a new update !?!

I think there a little late for, comparing the Atlas V (NASA) with the Arriane V Atlas V Payload to LEO 9,370–29,400 kg[1] (20,650–64,820 lb) Payload to GTO 4,750–13,000 kg[1] (10,470–28,660 lb) Arianne V Payload to LEO G: 16,000 kg ES: 21,000 kg Payload to GTO G: 6,200 kg G+: 6,950 kg GS: 6,100 kg ECA: 10,500 kg With the Arriane V about to end is life cycle to be replaced by the more powerful LEO-GEO Arriane VI and LEO solid fueled Vega (with the Vega capable of putting up to 7 satellites in LEO orbits) -
Well it depends on what changes are made From what I could get the current version of Mechjeb might not work on 0.23 but that's the only definite one mentioned while I could watch Kerbalcon
-
Off course more annoying is that the people who play on steam might get the release earlier then those that download from the site
-
GMT +1 here We have the same prob as the 0.22 launch, time like space is relative. We know the date but we don't know an hour relative to us

I thinkI might have found out the scenario that causes the tracking station freeze but can anyone check to get confirmation 1)Comm satellite with dish in high Kerbin orbit (the Reflectron LL-5) 2)Robotic mission to Eve or Duna, having a Reflectron LL-5 pointed at the Comm satellite from step 1 3)Point Comm Sat dish to robotic mission 4)Arrive at target 5)Do mission 6)Launch new mission to Eve or Duna, switch the Comm sat to the new mission 7)Don't deactivate the original mission link to Comm Sat 8)Tracking station freeze -
Hello, My save of my youtube LP was hit by a nasty tacking station bug caused by remotetech2, in order to resolve it I had to reload the save without the remotetech mod. This made me lose all the craft which had the remotetech antenna on them, luckily non of these were manned. But this also included 4 keostationary satellites, that I had already had to relaunch twice. So I know that you can edit the save game to put a craft into an orbit and I was wondering can anyone give me the numbers to do the following. Place 4 satellites in keostationary orbit, each one roughly 25% of the orbit away from 1 another, with at least 1 within range of KSC. Thanks in advance

I'm planning a network based on the following *4 keostationary satellites, 4dishes aimed at Kerbin (1 at mission control,2 at the 2 others in the group and 1 to a landed polar relay station),they also have 4 2500km omni directional antenna and 4 dishes outward --These provide coverage for the entirey of Kerbin and serve as the primary connection source for all the communications *5+ 500by500 km satelites:having 4 2500 km omnidirectional antenna's & 4 dishes outwards --These are meant to allow unmanned craft to sit in lko, without the need of desploying a dish, aimed primarily at interplanetary probes waiting for transfer windows *polar relay station: an unmanned lander sitting at 1 of Kerbins poles, having 4 dishes each pointed at the keostationary satelites & omnidirectional antenna --Safeguard to make sure that the keostationary will always have a link to mission control *A series of yet to be designed satelites sitting about 2500 km above keostationary, their goal would be to provide uplinks to each of the planets in the Kerbollian system --Providing comm relay to the planets there will be 1 for each planet *ORDA (don't know anymore what it stand for) large modular satelite sitting at the inner edge of Kerbin's soi --This one is more specialised and aimed at Eelloo,as this is the goal of my lp youtube series -

Yeah my satellites are experiencing that to annoying since they need to burn to get into their orbits to complete the network -

I'm getting weirdness in just Kerbin orbit, despite 0.0 signal delay mechjeb is not performing the correct manoeuvres Well to be more precise despite their being less then 1 second delay the craft is refusing to do the manoeuvres correctly -
Well no that not possible, not with the current architecture of the game. When I'm launching probes and satelites into keo or beyond I tend to have a manned launcher so that there is no need for an active antenna during laucnh

I'm not getting the option to separate the fairing pieces. I'm not getting them in the stack as demonstrated in this picture http://s259.photobucket.com/user/Resender/media/screenshot6_zps3ce62498.png.html

OK,the one problem I currently have. I got an Apollo style mission ,so i unlock the lander and turn around to pick it up with the command section. I align the hatches for easy eva,I enable autodock (either mechjeb or orda) a few meters before docking the command module makes a 45° spin. Anybody who can give an explanation
