  1. Which they did not especially created for the series cause its also the end credits of the movie Patch Adams
  2. My rockets are usually a mix from novapucnh and KW, but I do have other parts installed as well. My opinion if there\'s a part you like get it
  3. I can\'t check atm, because of my rocket decelerating I can\'t return to the spacecenter I ended the flight since I don\'t have the time atm to complete it So there is an asas directly under the command module (from the thor lander), but with just that the rocket started spinning after launch, adding a classical asas under the lander seemed to solve it. The following pictures we\'re taken during a stage test, the idea was not to get to mun but to see if all stages still behaved like they should. Upper Stage Nose cone separation & lander exit Lander leg test Decoupling of CM Safe landing at sea
  4. Ok, well see Also had to add a second asas, like I originally used, not to the lander but to the rocket itself, the thor asas on the lander is not strong enough to keep the rocket going strait up,it started to rotate quite a lot. In the meantime the main stage is under way It\'s a bit annoying the game treats acceleration and deceleration as the same thing
  5. OK, I replaced the fuel tank with a smaller one and same for the asas
  6. I\'ve been using your engines allot, but still haven\'t achieved a success full landing Currently this rocket the Luna-FIV uses 3 KW-MLR Hercules X (from Kyle & Winston) engines in the primary stage, cause the TD-0120 4X engine breaks under the weight. The second stage uses the Bearcat Tri-Nozzle engine, still my biggest problem has been landing on mun without tilting over and breaking the decoupler between the lander and comand pod Getting to Mun, is no longer the problem though. In that video a few post back there is a decoupler that goes wider then its base, I\'ve used them but they never seemed to fit so nicely to my rockets.

  8. Any plans for a more powerful 2 meter engine Currently this rocket, the Luna-FIV, uses 3 KW-MLR Hercules X (from Kyle & Winston) engines in the primary stage, cause the TD-0120 4X engine breaks under the weight. The second stage uses the Bearcat Tri-Nozzle engine, still my biggest problem has been landing on mun without tilting over and breaking the decoupler between the lander and comand pod
  9. Cause the idea in real life is not as easy as you might think
  10. I\'ve been waiting for this kind of game since I first got a computer back in 1995, so good job
  11. After my first sucesfull Munar interjection (landing not succeeded), I decided to launch a heavy duty rocket versus the object known as Mimmus. But is this supposed to be in orbit of Kerbal
  12. Now testing Luna-CIII, the C-III has a second stage in the ascent part of the rocket. Early test have show a slower liftoff but a more enjoyable merge into an orbit. Luna-CII These show the C-II upper stage with the nosecap ejected. The craft is pointing towards Kerbal since I had to decelerate, to prevent getting a slingshot out of the Kerbal-Mun system. The C-series have unfortunately brought a great deal of debris in various Kerbalian orbits
  13. So the Luna series is continuing, at the time tests are under way using the Luna-CII launcher. Successful in bringing a lander to mun, mun landing ended in failure because lander was still going to fast when touching Mun surface. Luna-CII, shortly after leaving atmosphere. Prototype lander Luna-CII, is a 3 stager. First stage lifts off ground and gets into right orbital angle, stage 2 brings lander to mun and into Mun orbit. Stage 3 the lander itself. Latest launch resulted in failure when last acceleration of first stage caused an explosion. Both engines on the lander part destroyed, and the explosion pushed it into an permanent orbit with no means of recovery by own power.
  14. Liquid fuel stage and lander shortly after ejecting the last solid booster
  15. Biggest problem is next version, I found an engine that would be perfect for the stage to get my lander from Kerbal to Mun. The biggest problem is the engine falls off the tank every time the stage underneath it seperates or the rocket slows down due to the solid fuel boosters stopping
  16. Yeah had little choose, when I was playing this I was on a laptop and i can lag kerbal so I missed the opportunity to go into munar orbit or change location much
  17. Luck is not with me So when the lander touched Mun, the asas trigged a short rcs burst, causing the tipping over from landing on a slope worse. An attempt to correct using rcs failed cause the connection between the lander and the command pod failed, as seen in the picture, I could use the controls to get the pod upright. It was a one way trip, since the lander did not have enough fuel for a return journey but I had preferred the entire lander to have been intact upon landing
  18. Yeah, my fairing seem to stick to the rocket blocking an upper stage which needed protection from leaving immediately. Is there a 1.75 meter connector in that pack cause I\'m not seeing.
  19. I\'m more jealous of the fact you managed to have such a beautiful cap separation
  20. Reached Lunas-X, so moving on. Tecraft-V was a whole failure, so the concept needs fine tuning. Meet Lunat-IB The lander did make it Munar orbit, but when I reloaded the save the lander was back in a very high Kerban orbit. I noticed that aiming east (the way the Kerbian sun rises) makes it easier to get into orbit, like in real life. Lunat-II
  21. Ok, I have been testing new stage ideas Testcraft-IV, the idea her would be to test encasing the lander in a shielded compartment making the rocket more stable during lift off. The cap jettisoned ok, when the 2 stage was done but took a while before i could get the manned section out.
  22. Problem I have is getting the right orbit, I usually end up in one where I \'ll never be able to intersect with the moon. I managed to get with a reconfigured Lunas-II into the right orbit around Kerbal, the main stage ran out before I got into a full orbit tough, the second stage got me into the full orbit and then onto Mun. Got into a new trajectory by Mun\'s gravity, used the second stage to slow down and get into Mun orbit and at that moment my office lost power and the effort was gone Second stage on it\'s way to Mun Current orbit (a lot of debris in orbit around Kerbal, some of it even has orbits allowing them to change due to Mun gravity)
  23. Ok I\'ve been trying to get a shell for my landers, but the shell keeps failling
