  1. Got the sideproject to a flyable state. I think "Sideproject" is a good name for this.
  2. "Oh god stop with the flat spins!" Added canards for the looks since its pretty much a Berkut. Still some minor issues here and there(Very lackluster roll capability and the tendency for the lower rudder to be destroyed on take off), but its at least flyable now. For a side project I'm putting an awful lot of thought into it. Then again, it's pretty much the first where I don't have to fiddle with the fuel load to balance the CoM and CoL, that's a good thing.
  3. A little sideproject based off the alternate approach. Unstable, particularly at low speeds and tends to do accidental Cobras when you try to pitch up to climb. And the undercarriage I was very satisfied with, fits Mk0 based cargo perfectly, clean and simple without the unnecessary complexity that my other planes have. A very promising base design to work off for my future planes.
  4. A more conventional approach to one of my current WIPs that I couldn't seem to find the problem with. This works perfectly, its not the actual WIP though. Personally I'm very satisfied with the actual WIP(below) since it had a lot of improvements over my previous designs especially with regards to the undercarriage.
  5. "Show them why the Quarter was given the name 'Macross' even though its a 400 meter class, no, show them why its this size even though its a Macross" Just put it together quickly on a whim, missing some details here and there, but I'm happy with it.
  6. More landing attempts, and finally a successful landing.
  7. Slight tweak to make the plane look a little better, and more landing tests. First successful landing, albeit with 4 destroyed tailfins. This plane needs a really soft landing. Also, something I've not taken a screenshot of, the angled auxiliary engine so that this monstrosity can even take off with its 200 tons of weight, also doubles as the propulsion unit for taxiing on runways.
  8. The wing are 4 of those slapped together. Unfortunately the wing span I envisioned for this is too wide and thick to build its wing out of structural wing parts without adding a lot of part count. As for sending it to Laythe, its currently at 200 tons and I'm not particularly good at building things that can into space much less something that can get 200 tons into space. Besides it has not landed safely on Kerbin in one piece at all
  9. Continuing work on latest superheavy plane. I think I know why Belka builds so much giant flying monsters now, its pretty fun to make em.
  10. Landing this monstrosity is gonna be trouble. Amusingly enough its a pretty good boat, provided you land it in the water in one piece.
  11. Slight tweak to the wing design, and more attempts to fix its tendencies to flip out
  12. Got the looks down, now to make it fly without it doing vertical flips when I pull on the stick. Thought it might have something to do with the weight on the wings, and took the 2 outer engines out. It flew fine Probably not enough wing parts contributing lift for its weight?
  13. Tweaked it a little more. Got the weight lower a little. A trip to Mount Treacherous and.... success.
  14. The completion of the "32", which ended up as the successor to the old "25" for doing all sorts of stuff with. Amusingly it was basically a shortened "33", which still holds the record for being able to carry the most weight.
  15. Did some work on an uncomplete large heavy aircraft. I had to do the heat test.
  16. Been working on a very lightweight aircraft that uses only Juno jet engines. Started off at 10 tons and got it down to 6.5 tons. Top speed of about 130m/s at sea level. Flies pretty well. Still needs improvements though.
  17. Cut its weight to 7.4 tons. Gotta have to experiment with adjusting the angle of the wing.
  18. Thanks for the advice. Personally I go for looks first and performance second. As long as the plane performs decently I'm fine with it.
