  1. Did you check to see is there were any problems with the individual part tweaks?
  2. It's not like I obsessively check multiple threads for updates. Every five minutes.
  3. They could make a DLC that allows you to incorporate various elements of some of the stories, and how special tutorials, i.e. how to get stranded on eve: Thompberry's "Base" or by Dipperkraft.
  4. YES! I hope they are, because it means more Emiko Station for us!
  5. One advantage to those airships is that they wouldn't burn, as the atmosphere of venus is lacking inn oxygen.
  6. Tiamat 4 “Easy, easy” Gene Kerman’s voice broke out on the speakers. This would be the first landing of a probe, Tiamat 1, on the mun. The ground crew held their breath, and the air in the room was so tense that a pin drop would have probably deafened them. “Gear down,” said Bobak. Outside, many reporters took a moment to look up at the mun, where history was being made. “And… touchdown!” The room was silent. And suddenly everyone was celebrating. This would allow for the development of munar landing technology. But first, there were press conferences. And, Tiamat 2, the minmus lander probe. The minmus landing was considerably easier, and large flat areas and low gravity made many FAST-NAO administrators feel certain this would be the place for an outpost. The probe also flew around to different biomes. FAST-NAO denies that the following picture is real: Soon, came Tiamat 3, the orbital test of the Tiamat spacecraft to take 3 kerbs to the mun. Due to the fact that both side boosters almost survived reentry, booster recovery technologies are being considered. And finally, Tiamat 4, the mun mission. The crew included Tamara kerman as commander, Bob kerman as the science officer, and Bill as senior engineer. The launch was successful, and once in orbit, they prepared to depart. The Tiamat spacecraft had no transfer stage: it was all one direct ascent package. And all was going to plan as they captured into munar orbit. Tamara was in a daze. Her, the first kerb to walk on the mun? She was having trouble focusing. What would she say?And then suddenly there was Gene’s voice telling her she was go for the deorbit burn. The jolt of deceleration, and then the feel of weightlessness again. What if she messed up the suicide burn? What if she landed hard and broke the engine, or worse, died. If I made it home, they’d ground me for life! She thought. Focus, Focus! They floated down, gaining speed. And suddenly there was a jolt of deceleration. As the spacecraft came to a hovering stop, Tamara allowed herself one sigh of relief. She slowed it down, and came to a gentle stop on the munar surface. And every single kerbal on kerbin yelled in celebration. After a brief moment to catch her breath, Tamara was suiting up. “Ow. I tripped over the parachute, and fell. Why are there no ladders!? Darn it, who designed this” and with those historic words, Tamara became the first Kerbal walked on the mun. The science was done, and soon, the historic flag as planted. Comparably, the ascent to orbit was a piece of cake, (though everyone was screaming, and all of the space sickness bags were used) and before they knew it, the the crew was reentering. After the crew was recovered, the crew for Tiamat 5 was selected. This science will be used to develop a mun orbital station. However, Tiamat 5 will have to wait until the next chapter. FAST-NAO is getting faster… now
  7. Oh. I guess I was going by the actual time it took to scroll through it.
  8. It's a shame they no longer have the bunker by the level one launch site.
  9. No, this is shorter. Also, is this because the grand kerbal blames them for the Kraken attack?
  10. The Munar Hop Tamara’s arms were getting sore. She hoped all FAST-NAO missions wouldn’t be like this, but she was doubtful. The worst part was, she would have to fly the next one. This was outrageous, (and walt was complaining from the ground that this was “cheating” and a rescue would be “cooler”) and after over 30 EVAs to lower Acerak 6’s periapsis into the atmosphere, the pushing was complete. And as the weary spacecraft flew home, a meeting was going on on the ground. “This is ridiculous,” said Gene. Half of our missions end this way. We need looser margins. “To be fair,” said Walt, “This is pretty BadS.” “Oh, Ok,” said Gene sarcastically. “When she gets back and her arms recover, Tamara will be deliberately stranded on the mun for better interest!” Walt nodded enthusiastically. It was at this point that Mort butted in, “Gentlekerbs, we need to think in the long term. If we keep doing this, we’ll lose the public interest. I propose the following: all missions must have better abort procedures, and larger margins of error. Also, on Acerak 8, i propose we test a personal parachute” And thus, the first law of FAST-NAO was passed by the committee. Tamara, also did not burn up, and neither did Frotop, her rescuer. And next, Tamara flew a mission to rescue the scientist Lacergal. They used a different launcher, and it took two tries. On the first try, Tamara lost control. She bailed out, fell into the ocean, and got FAST-NAO 18,000 kerbucks for going 20 feet into the ocean. The second try succeeded, and a larger margin of error was in place. One thing of note about the new launcher was that it had a booster that fell into the atmosphere, and blew up. There was no junk left in space! Finally, Acerak 8 went to Minmus to rescue Hancas. It was successful, and it flew by the mun on the way back. Podgun also made it home from minmus and got ~500 science from the orbit. FAST-NAO accepted contracts to rescue Elon from kerbin orbit, and build a minmus station. Jeb testing the parachute Here is a shot of the Acerak 8 booster during reentry: FAST-NAO is getting faster... now (dumbest outro ever)
  11. Oh, and BTW FAST-NAO stands for Federal Administration of Space Travel and National Aviation Organization. Gene Kerman Maintains The acronym was not made to sound cool. The Three Flags
