  1. Just to expound; I was having the same locking issue. I have the 'breaking ground' expansion and when I updated KIS to 1.22 it solved it.
  2. Downloaded and have run a few missions with the planet pack. This is easily one of the best looking, stream line, easy to install and smooth planet packs I have ever used. Fantastic work by @Gameslinx volunteering your time to give the community something this well put together. I also love the rotation of planets on the start menu! There is a 'pizza' from me incoming.
  3. I have been meaning to type this for a few days, but RL got in the way. This post is meant to show my experience while: 1. Deleting and doing a FRESH install with NO MODS of KSS 0.8 - everything released to date. 2. Give my observations of the install process 3. Notice any bugs, if any, and/or anything not intuitive. First my rig, if anyone cares. My experience level with KSP is average, and I love MODs, preferring to install them manually (Nothing against CKAN) and am comfortable doing so. This is not meant as a brag, it is meant to show that someone without this level of experience may run into problems I did not. And if I ran into a problem, odds are others will to. I have KSP 1.4.5 with Kopernicus 1.4.5-2 installed. NO OTHER MODS initially. My Process: 1. I installed each .ZIP file from GITHUB one at a time starting with the KSS 0.8 BASIC first. 2. Opened up the ZIP file I read the README file from each zip and followed it 3. I would restart KSP and start a new sandbox game after each install. What I downloaded in order: My Observations: 1. Reading the README file in the BASIC zip file made the installation pretty easy. One snag though was the folder labeled "KopernicusExpansion" It is not mentioned in the README nor in the Wiki. So a newer player may not know what to do here. I have the expansion, so therefor installed the folder in my GAMEDATA folder 2. Started the game and everything booted up fine. 3. Had to reset my graphics settings (ping me if you want to know what I set.) because this was a fresh install, no issues 4. I experienced the same issue as @Darkspaceabove, but was actually expecting it, as it is mentioned in the "Known Bugs" section along with the flooding. Both expected. A quick get around of the glitchy terrain is to use the buttons along the lower left to enter the buildings. I seemed to experience this less the longer I played. 5. The more I installed of the list above the longer there would be a pause in the loading screen. I am used to this as I normally play with a lot of mods. But since there was no indication on the screen of any movement, a less experienced player may think the game is 'frozen' and try to manually close the game. Just wait, depending on your rig, it should eventually load. 6. I noticed when installing the KSS Kormin system zip that it asked me to overwrite the Brown Star file. I went ahead, as didn't feel that this was odd, but it may throw off others as I didn't see it mentioned in the README. 7. I DID NOT install any of @Galileoplant packs, as I believe I read earlier in the forums that KSS is not yet ready to install them as before, but I can not wait as his work is AMAZING! Finally, I would use the tracking station and TAB through all the bodies after EACH zip file install. My hat is off to @StarCrusher96and his team. The scope is vast, the planets, moons and suns are SIMPLY AMAZING! I know a sound like a fanboy here, but I really could not get over the detail of even the smallest moons and *cough* comet! I can not wait to visit each and every one that will make for potentially years of play ability. In the future I will post on the MODS that I add, not that it matters much to the team, but hopefully will save others from posting "does mod x work with this?" I know this post was long, but I wanted to show someone who is tempted to install KSS that it is worth it, as well as give my observations to the KSS team. Starcrusher, I know I already gave you a "coffee" but after this effort, I feel I owe you more. All the best, if anyone has any questions about my post or need any other info, feel free to send me a note. Though please understand I am not part of the official KSS team, just enthusiastic. 4. Thank you so much for all of you and your teams hard work! I actually have a clean install of KSP that has been on my computer for the last few months waiting for this moment, cant wait to dig in!
  5. @N70 Is there something that I could do to help get this great mode compatible for the planets that @StarCrusher96 and his team are making for Kerbal Star System? Never tried modding anything, but willing to help if needed. It could also be that they are already doing something at KSS that I am not aware of too.
  6. I have both the app on my phone and on my desktop. For some reason both links show up as expired for me too. Love to join even without the "special title"
  7. Took the words right out of my mouth. While I understand peoples excitement and anticipation (I share it!) its normally not a good idea to ask update timeline questions. As often said in the forums "Updates are never late, nor early, but right on time"
  8. I, for one, am looking forward to a changed initial system. Then the amount of additional planets/systems in the expanse is really staggering. Cant wait!
