  1. Jadeofmaar already said this but to summarize: Radial attachments are naturally weak. All wings radially attach. You need to strut them to the heavier chunks (central mass) of the plane. Otherwise, as soon as you take off, the force of your thrust will literally tear it apart. It's REALLY easy to do once you start putting anything on your wings like engines or fuel tanks. I learned the hard way when I started building SSTO's (especially w/ OPT) that you had to use balanced strut'ing or your flights over before it begins.
  2. Honestly, I have no idea! Weird that tweakscale was only causing crashes w/ FUR. But that's great that it's fixed! Quick note though: CKAN isn't seeing any update to TweakScale. Dunno who manages that though.

Maybe it'll help my newly-deplorable framerate while steering a craft. Weird that it's only wile the craft is visible and in map view, it's good. (I'm talking 8-11 fps while flying, 30-40+ while in map.)
  4. Anyone else having issues where the game just crashes to desktop when trying to build a rover in 1.10? After placing the cabin (which windows have black textures now instead of blue) I can only place 1 or 2 more parts before the game just crashes.   5. Same issue here. Hoping it's fixed soon. Separate question though. For the resource transfer/pipe change last year, is the RTS-1 the only way to connect base pieces to conduct an in-flight resource transfer (without docking crafts anyway)? The thing's butt ugly with those red stripes. It'd be nice if it had at least a decent texture.
  6. Lovely little rover. I'm curious what happened to the cool looking wheels (that matched the ones in the movie)? This is from @-ctn-'s WIP thread. They were in the game at some point because Kotobo's video of the pre-release has them.
  7. And yet it's the most awesome part of the mod (IMO). So gorgeous. That and the central truss are why I downloaded it in the first place. I really hope it's fixed soon!

  9. Question: Why is it that if Waz said that EnvironmentalVisualEnhancements is specifically made to work with StockVisualEnhancements, CKAN would complain that it's a directly conflict with it?
  10. Because it's not a nose CONE, just a J nose. It's in there. There are Mk. 2, J & K noses I believe.

  12. @Stone Blue It's not a missing texture issue, the viewable area for my icons has shifted down about half an icon and I haven't the slightest clue how to fix it. Some mod I installed (back in ksp 1.4) did this and somehow persisted through my uninstalling the game years ago and my fresh install when I posted this thread. I would love to hear some suggestions on what could possibly mess with the UI in that way. I'm running KSP 1.9.1 (latest version). System specs: Intel core i3 6320 nVidia RTX 2060 Super w/ May drivers 16 gb DDR4 ram 256gb M.2 drive in SATA mode I've configured my card to run Phyx off the card and not my processor (since my CPU is a POS) if that has any bearing on it.
  13. Yes and it destroys my framerate too. But the issue w/ the parts being cutoff is what I'd really like (need) help with.
  14. Glad you two fixed your issues but mines still not working. Same sort of issue where I click the VesselVIew button during IVA, I get a black screen and that monitor is effectively frozen until I reload.   16. The funky ocean thing hasn't happened in a while since I want to get a ss of it, of course. Since I've since modded my game I"ll probably repost this is the modded section.
  17. Yep, this is a new issue that happened when I updated to the may nVidia RTX drivers. Textures and other effects pop around all over the place, the screen blinks constantly and the kerbin ocean looks like it's on top of a super heavy subwoofer spitting out epic base tunes every other time Kerbin loads up. Can't find any info on that, and it's only while I'm building craft or in the KSC buildings so it's not TOO much of a bother.
  18. The IKS Phoenix-C, on it's way to land on the Mun to show off some lovely craters to numerous tourists who... well... want to see craters! Hot, crater action! Just about to land on the Mun. Thanks to KF & it's awesome (and huge) landing struts. Mun landing complete! Jeb sure is enjoying those sexy gauges & monitors (thanks RPM/OPT/Legacy/all)! Time to return home to Kerbin, mission complete!
  19. Also should note the effect is even worse in the R&D menu. Entire long rows get cutoff at the bottom and the show really high above the box.
  20. Hey @JadeOfMaar are there supposed to be several .txt instead of cfg files in Reconfig? IE: +-OPT_Reconfig/ | +-MainWings_Stacknodes.txt | +-Classic/ | | | +- OPT_Atmosphere.txt | | | +- OPT_RCS_toggles.txt | | | +- OPT_WBI_Extra.txt Is this just to disable these entire config files?
