  1. TF1000 any restriction on max deltaV for main proplution not including breaking rockets?
  2. Thanks for giving it a go, it would go faster if I had two more rockets on it. I figured it would get up to almost 200m/s with only 239m/s dv. Pulling about 6g for 6 seconds.
  3. I accept the better name of the “Vomit Comet” make sure to hit action group 1 to stop only after the fuel has been fully spent. Or risk flying off the track. Oh and make sure the wheels are set to steering disabled. No steering needed.

Yes I am Entering, https://kerbalx.com/NickBDesigns/DragsterNB101 its not the "ratrod that i was thinking of but its all i had in 45 min Spacebar to Start rockets then hit Action Group 1 to engage Breaks and Deploy Chutes. I fount it hard to note Stage chutes when hitting the breaks to not drift forward.

  10. I’d say the next best thing is a rescue mission to get Edberry from his spot, bring edberry home. Or leave him in eternal bliss of the great out doors Maybe use mechjeb or rover autopilot to drive in the background sorta thing. I was thinking of trying to develop rocket booster that you strap on like a seportron that would boost and run out of fuel but like an arcade game regenerate fuel to boost again. Fun for rover speed or hill climb mountain climbing
  11. I must admit defeat, this week came with pitchforks in the form work. I haven’t been on enough to get anything made up or tuned up. Wish me luck for the weekend or next week or Thursday which ever comes first.

  13. ya new design could be cool, I feel that moving to an Open Command Seat in a cage would keep a kerbal alive much longer. If you were to want to still use the inline mk1 command pod adding a bit of caging using Cubic_Octagonal_Strut to "shield" the command pod. If its not too "cheaty" ,"not stock" then you can go into your mk1 command pod .cfg file and change its m/s tolerance from 40m/s before it crashes to 80 or 1000 and its G's tolerance from 50g's to something higher... This may be too far on the OverPowered of keeping a kerbal alive.
  14. When you get to this “X” intersection make a monument on its location using kerbal konstructs to build a huge X using bridge parts! That would be awesome.

  16. You can change the flow priorities of your fuel tanks to allow the front to drain faster than the back. One thing I wish ksp had auto balance tanks to maintain cg and I still haven’t found a mod good enough to do it. But you only have tanks up front so it would help so much lol. You should try the mod tweakable everything it will open up more adjustable parameters
  17. Can you move the bridge? The difference in time to make a new bridge vs just using the one that’s there is probably about the same huh?
  18. She technically has 4wheels but the rear two are clipped together as a “wide” base. I got it up to 50.3m/s just on the ksc runway.

  20. Is the wheel configuration still a trike? Or did you get the fourth wheel back on? if a trike is a good compromise add a 2m I-beam to hold that rear wheel offset.
  21. I love KIS I haven’t used it yet but now seeing how you can make pretty much a whole craft out in the field man it’s a go.
