  1. Oh nice, been wanting to get back into Kerbal; I loved building airliners to contest standards and I'm glad to see that there's(Another) Continuation for this.
  2. I've started building planes without CoM or lift indicators, it does not turn out well, half the time it becomes a reenactment of this video
  3. my decrease in activity has nothing to do with star theory or the new ksp at all, could not possibly be one of them
  4. @Mieyo How about aircraft turns are defined by its features. Meaning you take off from point A and you can bomb point B point B has to be within range of the aircraft, say: 30% of its fuel payload and then it returns to base.
  5. you win this time.... @The Minmus Derp
  6. Nah, @Just Jim (because that makes sense)
  7. @mieyo we can take an action(e.g. firing a weapon) then pass the save to the other person instead of using dmp.
  8. Welcome to the forums! As @Vanamonde said, get the hang of small rockets and learn to predict how a rocket will work. Another way to learn is to mess around in sandbox, maybe start a career game to learn how the different parts work. Perhaps most importantly watch a ton of gameplay; Matt Lowne and Scott Manley(both found on youtube) are good places to start.
  9. wow, my fastes plane only ever made it to ~3100(no proof) you guys are insane.
  10. my guess would be an external program, or plugin for video editing software that overlays the keyboard onto the game after it is recorded.
  11. Civ 5 gang! I don't really play all that much anymore, if you want something a bit more challenging tray some paradox games; My favorite is hearts of iron. I have been playing pokemon sword and super smash bros.
  12. Yeah, i still have not found that one. @minerbat if you ever find other easter eggs put the location in a spoiler(if you put the location in a post).
  13. Sure, there was a topic somewhere similar to this but with rockets, i recall @Sidestrafe2462 and @panzer1b being prominent members.
  14. I am kinda interested in this, i would like to participate if you have room. try to keep it from roleplay though, as that would violate forum rules.

adding to everything everyone else is saying: Most(if not all) equations used in real life regarding physics will work in kerbal, the Dv(DeltaV) equation is the same as in real life. just substitute variables with the matching variables(e.g. swapping the acceleration of gravity on earth to the acceleration of gravity on kerbin) in game.
  16. I have not been playing, making my kerbals nonexistent, the worst crime of all
  17. Which version of realplume did you install? . Did CKAN install the dependencies need for the mod? They should be installed by default but you may have to install them manually. The mod thread says: I would recommend reinstalling the mod manually to see if that makes a difference. these are all general things to troubleshoot mods; so I would recommend reporting your problem to the mod thread here.
