  1. it's just the background music, I quite like it, space should be eerie and have a feeling of vastness and a bit of creepiness. Now we just need a darker skybox...
  2. ~400 parts get's me the timer on yellow. using an i5-2500k 8gb ram and SLI gtx460 and all settings maxed except fallback.
  3. Cargo holds and cargo containers, and engines with high gimbal, so we can do space shuttle like launchers.

  7. Then not many people could do that, not everyone is a programmer, it's important to show what you like and what you don't like too, that's how feedback works. I'm quite happy about the update, I've only experienced 2 bugs, but I did expect many more parts, and the interiors to be hi-res.

  9. I'm a bit disappointing that the IVA's where in a very low resolution, from the images I though we would be able to read all labels without having to squint and also the blurry planet textures. I do like the new terrain lightning thing, it looks very good, and the issues I had with lightning in 0.19 are fixed now, the apoapsis and periapsis locking is very useful, and the flags are very cool. I just which we would have gotten some more KSPX parts made stock, like the 3m Nerva. You have come a long way from the old 0.9 days, I hope the next patch fixes most issues people are having

  12. the USS Enterprise of course And the Energia! The Energia was capable of lifting 9 times the amount of weight that the space shuttles did, and It was launched into orbit, did some maneuvers and landed 2m from it's target at the runway, completely unmanned. The Energia was in some ways superior to the shuttle, but was deemed too expensive, and kept their Soyuz program, which we still use today, 47 years later (another favorite) The main difference between the space shuttle and the Buran, was that the Buran was capable of automated unmanned flight and landing, the boosters on the Energia where liquid fueled while the shuttle was solid fueled, the energia could launch heavier payloads, the space shuttle had reusable engines while the Buran only had OMS and RCS systems and the Energia was more expensive than a space shuttle. (Energia is the launcher, Buran is the orbiter)

  14. You wont be able to rescue all Kerbals one day, one day Kerbals will need life support As you can see in my ribbons, I have lost some Kerbals, RIP Kermans.
  15. Wait, it was a planet? I thought it was a star? Gas giants have a rocky core, but before that there's a liquid layer. I also want a high inclination planet, or maybe a comet.

  19. The DTV, a space transport system that ferries payloads and smaller craft to Mun, Minmus, Duna and Eve Orbits. I'm making a version that will go to Dres, Jool and Eeloo.

  21. The key is to just enjoy it for what it is, if you really like hard sci-fi then I recommend Planetes and 2001 space Odyssey
  22. Well, we will probably get sabre and maybe even ramjet engines when they overhaul the aerodynamics.
