I have also had these problems. Have you tried turning off reaction wheels? Also make sure your crafts control point is facing forward. If this dose not work, maybe go to your tracking station (save before you do this just in case ) then switch back to your vessel. This worked for me when my mun rover would not move.

One my 1.5m landers and 2.5 meter landers, I like to put tiny Oscar-B fuel tanks on the side, and then add struts. This makes it look cool (I mostly use x2 symmetry). Also if done right these can give you more delta V and can even act as landing gear.

Fact: I 700% agree with you. Fact: a runway overrun that happened one time in Egypt was cause by the pilots landing at the wrong airport.
