  1. I figured out how breaking ground works. I then made a wind turbine, a ferries wheel, and did a 22 day Minmus mission which gave me 4,984 science.
  2. So one day, I was taking a look at the orbital map in the tracking station. Then I wondered, what color is Pol compared to Bop? I don't know why I asked myself this, but I looked for the answer. Upon closer inspection I discovered: A: Pol is more orange and yellow compared to Bop B: Bop has a hole on its North Pole, similar to the one on Moho Upon discovering B, I looked at Moho, and then back at Bop, and realized they are almost identical sinkholes in the almost same spot. So is this a glitch in the map screen, or is this an actual Bop-Hole?
  3. Ok, so I will just cut to the chase. My company is not capable of handling anything over 50 parts. I know, sad. But I am also not what one would call “creative”. So I want to see some creations you guys made, specifically surface bases. So show me what you have !
  4. This in the first weekly challenge I have ever made (also the first challenge I ever made), so I figured the first one should be simple. And what is more simple then a Mun landing! OBJECTIVE- Make a voyage to the Mun and back. RULES- Must be manned, with at least 1 kerbal + Must be completely stock parts + Absoloutley no cheating (HyperEdit, debug menu, ect.) + MechJeb allowed, but see Bonuses section + Visual enhancement mods allowed + no mods purposed for exploiting physics You must post a picture album or record a video for proof of your accomplishment. Any mod not mentioned is not allowed. Be creative, and try some of the bonuses! BONUSES- Apollo style (command and lander module)= 1 extra point Land with a rover= 2 extra points Land next to Easter egg (Armstrong monolith for example)= 5 extra points Land next to green monolith= 20 extra points Do trip without maneuver nodes= 6 extra points Do trip without Mechjeb= 1 extra points Do trip without leaving debris= 10 extra points NOTES- I donor know when I will judge the entries, it depends on how popular the challenge becomes. I will post the date as soon as I decide, but for now, YOU can make this challenge series more popular by giving this thread a good rating! Have a fun and safe Mun voyage!
  5. I agree. I don't see how any form of life, even a microbe, would be able to survive on Eeloo or Moho. This brings me back to the main topic, could their be life on Eve? I was looking for evidence based on Eve's characteristics, but it was a good observation made by ExtremeSquared, even if it is just a flaw made by the developers.
  6. Interesting, I will look out for that. I wonder why KSC is being so secretive about it?
  7. Hi, I am new to the forums. So, uh. . . hi. It seems that the only possible life in the Kerbol System other than Kerbin is Laythe, which is why many people focus on traveling there. But what if there was life elsewhere, like Duna, Moho, or Eve. Eve's purple color is explained by iodine in the atmosphere. But what if it was because of another reason, one that supported life? Tons of people don't know this, but Earth used to be purple, not green. Today, plant cells use something called chloroplast, which allows them to use photosynthesis and gives them green color. But many years ago when plant life was brand new, they used something else to use photosynthesis, and this gave them a purple color, not green. So is this why Eve is purple? Maybe, because the abundance of CO2 (what plants breathe) and sunlight could allow plant life to exist. Of course, there is no way to prove this in the game right now, but it's always fun to speculate. I have not been to Eve yet, but it's on the top of my list!
