  1. Im at 626 hours, but my second most played steam game (TABS) is only 63, so you can confidently guess KSP is my favorite game.
  2. Looks like a big, beautiful golden baguette! How many kerbals can it house?
  3. That outdoor bar and band is one of the most kerbal things one can think of. Great job!
  4. Nicely done! The P-5 Olympian has a lot of air-breaks.
  5. Very cool, sleek design for both the ferry and the hotel! And that booster landing Adds to the applause.
  6. If you have a gmail, you can save them to drive and then have them on the computer. Otherwise, you can email them.
  7. @Scarecrow Nice job! I am also now convinced that the inflatable airlock is just a large paper bag, @Lewie Try to keep clipping to a minimum, only do it if you feel it necessary. I’m not that good of an artist, so anyone is free to make a badge. Also, I’m not entirely sure how screenshots work on console, but this reddit page might help https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.reddit.com/r/ConsoleKSP/comments/b2j7qr/ps4_screenshot/
  8. Would anyone be interested in a sort of new weekly challenge? Each weak on Sunday, I would post some historical plane or rocket or rover, and people would have a week to replicate it in KSP. Then, the most accurate replica would be chosen on Sunday along with the next craft. would anyone want to play something like this?
  9. That looks awesome! I'll make the orbit altitude rules more lenient. How many kerbals can it hold, I count 402
  10. Not really. You can make it as big as you want, but if you can’t put a 500 part station in orbit, don’t worry. Make it as big as you want!
  11. But the 4th attempt did! 2 minutes 22 seconds Full album here: https://imgur.com/a/aNfyiuH
  12. No, the hotel has to be a separate craft in orbit that the ssto docks to. The hotel can also be an ssto, but it can't return to the surface.
  13. There are 2 parts to this challenge. Part 1 is to build a space hotel in Kerbin orbit, and part 2 is to build something that transfers tourists to and from your space hotel. PART 1- SPACE HOTEL Requirements: Must have room for at least 8 tourists, and must have 1 pilot, engineer or scientist per 8 tourists (so a hotel with 40 tourists must have 5 other kerbals). Must have at least 4 docking ports for transport ships. Must have antenna and be able to store at least 10k units of electricity (and be able to produce electricity). Must be in Kerbin orbit between 150km and 450km. Rules: No debug cheats, Hyper Edit cheats, or Vessel Mover cheats. No autopilot mods or mods that alter physics. Mods that add information on the screen are ok (this part of MechJeb is allowed, not the autopilots). Part mods are only allowed for the craft istelf, not the rockets that launch it. It can be one module or multiple modules. For entry to count: Show picture of it on the launchpad, and it in orbit. PART 2- TRANSPORT SHIP Requirements: Must have room for at least 1/3 of the capacity of the hotel (if the hotel holds 30, the ship must hold 10+) and room for 4 other kerbals. Must be able to dock with the hotel (RCS recommended, but not required). Must be able to safely re-enter and land without any explosions. Must have antenna and be able to store at least 2k units of electric charge (and be able to produce electricity). - Can be an SSTO, but does not have to be an SSTO. Rules: No debug cheats, Hyper Edit cheats, or Vessel Mover cheats. No autopilot mods, part mods or mods that alter physics. Mods that add information on the screen are ok (this part of MechJeb is allowed, not the autopilots). For entry to count: Show picture of it on the launchpad or runway, in space, and docked to the hotel. WINNERS @QF9E with a large Ring design and capacity for 384 tourists and 402 kerbals all together. @Scarecrow building a large spire-like hotel holding 36 tourists and escape pods for all of them, as well as a 12 capacity transport shuttle. @ralanboyle with a sleek design holding a maximum 48 tourists, excursion ships, escape pods and a reusable ferry holding 22. @Mars-Bound Hokie constructing the 53 kerbal capacity "Bedsheetz", along with the P-5 Olympian carrying a whole lot of air-breaks. @Klapaucius Building a 90+ capacity hotel with an observation deck and an outdoor bar and band, completed with a transport ship holding 32. @purpleivan Constructing a large propeller like hotel and a transport ship that can fly in or out of atmosphere. @Dirkidirk With a large beautiful golden baguette, holding 19 kerbals.
  14. Project BillLink, 36 satellites to LKO
  15. https://imgur.com/a/CWnhXBo This is the smallest, and one of my favorite space stations I've made yet. Its called MINST (mini station) and has room for 4 kerbals, but will only be used for 3. Left: Escape pod using the "Pomegranate" command pod. Since it can hold 3, the station will only hold 3. Middle: Habitation modules with room for 3 kerbals plus some space to move around. Right: Utility module with solar panels, batteries, relay dishes and an engine to move the station in the event of an emergency. Bottom: Space telescope module with a small pressurized monitoring room. Top: Science module, with little other purpose other than the free docking port and nice visuals.
  16. @herbal space program that certainly is an interesting wing design
  17. I hope they have some early-access program, I would so do that!
  18. I cannot make an SSTO for the life of me, but i can make rockets. The goal of this mission is to make partially and fully reusable rockets, and I have already ended up making something I have rarely seen before. I present to you, The Artemis 1. https://imgur.com/a/dPCXfbm 66 parts, 391.79 tonnes, 31.6 meters high. can take 45-50 tonnes to LKO (haven't been able to test it too thoroughly). 123,124 funds in VAB, with around 76,600 funds recoverable (depending on pilot skills and payload), making launch cost around 46,524 funds. Most of these numbers are averages, I have only tested this thing twice which is why there aren't more pictures. If anyone is interested, I'll test it more, take more pictures, and post craft file. So, anyone interested?
  19. Sorry I haven’t been able to get back to you, I have been on a vacation and haven’t had much WiFi access. Now to answer your question: Flight attendant means someone who is not a passenger, nor someone who flies the plane. They can be any type of kerbal, with the exception of tourist. They can be a pilot, but can’t be flying. You can use in-game company names and flags or make up your own if you want. 2-6 passengers means 2-6 kerbals that do not take part in the flight (not an attendant or pilot). Pilots with the addition of probe cores are allowed, but not solely probe cores. I only made this rule for realism, as some people would not be okay with a self-driving car with no human to keep it on the road if things go wonky. Mun Hopper and Dirtblood look pretty good and functional too, though I haven’t really been able to take a good thorough look at them through in-packing. I will soon!
  20. Excellent work, these look awesome! It comes with quite a price tag, though.
  21. Thanks, can’t believe I haven’t seen this before!
  22. Hi everyone! I started a new save about a month ago where I aim to land on every celestial body and plant a flag there. I’m up to Dres, but I can’t get an encounter without spending all of my fuel. Does anyone have tips on when and how to transfer to Dres? Thanks in advance!
