Then, doesn't say my linked post (signature) say where to find the logs, clearly, or does it?

And: asking kindly for help is one thing, making demands like "So what do you do then to solve my problem?" is something different, imo.

    Ok rant time:

    Spoiler

"Make sure yo have all your addons installed correctly"
All the guides and mod formats have a "GmaeData" folder inside them, the Readme says "Copy the GameData contents into GameData"

Many people will copy the GameData folder and many will replace the stock gamedata.

" Check to see if the issue was already reported. "

The forum search function is very confusing and maybe throw a ton of useless results, so they assume that it was not reported.

    "  %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Squad\Kerbal Space Program\Player.log "

Many people can't see AppData folder because they don't have the "view hidden files" setting in Windows.

" NOTE: These logs are not the same as KSP.log, which lacks valuable data. Do not upload KSP.log; do upload output_log.txt / Player.log "

Sometimes KSP.log is also useful, and maybe even need to be required for reproduction steps.

    "

    The Reproduction Steps

These are essentially a recipe on how to cause the bug."

In inmediate KSP crashes there is no need to do reproduction, and maybe even impossible.

" a screenshot of your GameData directory is not sufficient "

Then how are you supposed to list all of the mods with version numbers if they are sometimes missing?

"Read this before asking for support" is always ignored.

The thing is, many people don't have any idea of where the logs are or how to post them here, or in some cases they post and never ever log back in.

For example me, KSP was my first game on my computer, so I was also new to Steam.

I did not know where do the local files were, how to install mods, etc.

My first issue was because a mod was incorrectly installed, breaking a stock part.

And since the guides are not *that* explanatory, many people just dont know.

If this is the "new normal", I really don't know if/why I would any energy anymore trying to help people.

Especially those who post things like:

    "KSP not working"

    "HELP MEEE!!!"

    "ksp doesnt start"

...And that they dont post anything useful as logs or even the version number.
