  1. does this fit? picture upload no sign up I would like to bring the other 2 of my modules myself but if you can bring one of them along for free I don't mind. Also, everyone keeps talking about the core module but how does it even look?
  2. For lunex 4, do I need to build the base in multiple launches or is 1 big launch ok?
  3. I didn't land on top of it but next to it, my craft is a little too big for that. But the appollo memorial is an extra special location for me because my first madden mun mission landed very close without me knowing it was there, they brought a small unmanned rover with them so when they were gone and I was driving my rover around I saw a few weird gray pixels in the distance, kind of the same as when you look at minmus from kerbin. So i drived my rover over there and found the memorial. Quite a small change of landing just a few km away from it so I was lucky. I always wanted to visit it with kerbals so that is what I did! I also think it was wat my first forum post was about
  4. I completed lunex 3 first class, getting the base back in the ship was a real pain because the breaking ground hinges and servos appear to glitch out after a while and it did not fit. Just like 1 and 2, I will upload the video when I have edited it. I also visited a special "touristic attraction" on the Mun...
  5. Those problems can maybe be solved. If the bounce is not very great you can bounce it into gilly and then dock a lot of engines to it and lift it into space, doing a transfer from eve to kerbin is way less harder than from the very elliptical orbit they ususally are in. If the bounce has about good enough force to put it into kerbin orbit, bounce it of the mun or minmus (try and try again) and have a craft prepared in orbit to rendezvouz and lower the orbit before it gat another encounter. if the bounce is very strong you can do it a few times or only once and do a insertion burn anyway, any amount of slowing down helps.
  6. Can't you slow down a comet by bouncing it of the mun or minmus then? Why worry about capture burns or aerobraking?
  7. My second mission ^^^ I did land on the runway just to be safe but I still really, REALLY want to know the answer to my runway question, please OP.
  8. "unstable and slow in the atmosphere, flipping quite often"... Where have I heard that before?... I am not to decide, but the rules say at the KSC, not the runway specifically. I would count the entire beach the KSC in on as landed at KSC, but again, not my rules.
  9. Also, a rocket with this craft on top really likes to flip even with 4 very big fins, anyone any tips to improve that? Because of it I need to do the noob thing of burning straigt up and once above about 60 km turning 90 degrees and burning sideways...
  10. I completed the second challenge. I did land on the runway just in case but I REALLY want the OP to answer my question about the runway landing. Video will come once I am done editing.
  11. I wont include those magnetometer legs sadly because although it works fine on the flat runway it does not really work that well on a slope.
  12. Trying to find a way to get my base for mission 3 back into the ship... Of course this is what magnetometers where actually intended for . Dont know yet if they will be included in the final design though.
  13. I don't feel bad. Now that I look at it this post may sound like I am but it was proudness, not upsettiness (yes, upsettiness will be a word from now on )
  14. Mun landing or runway landing? which one are you referring to? I REALLY want to know the answer to my question about landing on the runway because my second craft is on its way back right now.
  15. If you need this information: the used docking port is a regular sized one. Also, if you want to dock it to a ship you would need to dock the ship to the observatory because it does not have any control, rcs, or propulsion.
  16. The Mun and Minmus are setting over the second Lunex rocket... I accidentally posted this on the wrong forum page before...
  17. The Mun and Minmus are setting over the second Lunex rocket... Wait... I just realized this is the wrong forum page... oops
  18. 2 Questions: The description of lunex 1 first class say that I need to land at the KSC, which is understandable for the first mission to get extra challenging. But the other first class descriptions don't have this requirement. So I don't need to land at the KSC every time? I hope so because it would just get tedious while the actual first class extra challenging part comes from some other requirement and I did prove i can land at the runway, I just don't feel like spending al that time on such a small detail because it costed about half of my mission time (I am very proud on myself for pulling it off ). Also, is the breaking ground DLC allowed?
  19. I like it. It is probably the best you can do in stock KSP. I actually think the reflective fuel tanks. It would make sense if you are trying to keep something in there cool that they would be reflective.
