  1. 17: add most boosters. 18: blow up on bad 19: install kjr 20: crash game 21: if good: he to troubleshoot it yourself, post detailed explanations and logs in the forum 21: if bad: immediately go to the forum and get mad a squad. When somebody says it's probably mods poke the bears. Still no log.
  2. Yes, but this is for players like me who don't use mechjeb and the console players who can't. I don't know if you have used principia but my idea is sorta like that except it's not clunky. Also I don't know this.because I play on pc, but I imagine this will make maneuvers on console easier. Also, on maneuver nodes another thing that sucks is that they assume the impulse is instant. Ion engines and nuclear engines would be much better if you could accurately plot maneuver nodes that understood that the impulse would be applied evenly over the course of the burn time. Of course an easy simplification is to create small 1 sec burn time maneuvers in the predicted trajectory. Basically every time the node changed it would create a 1 sec burn time maneuver, than another, than another but forgetting the predicted trajectory for the first, for performance, and doing it until the required dV is spent, then using that to show the final prediction. This would make ion engines vetter, because you wouldn't lose efficiency from correction burns and inaccurate maneuvers. If my changes were made maneuvers would be a lot more fun. Sorry for the terrible explanation, but what it does is creates a 1 sec burn time maneuver predicted trajectory, and then another 1 second after the last one (on the new trajectory) and then again but delete the first maneuver. This would be literally a for loop and some copied code, come on squad.
  3. Yeah, all of @Nertea stuff should be in ksp2 and most in ksp1, but most importantly restock and restock+.
  4. the rings were epic tho Maybe all the moderators live on the tidally locked planet! Also, at 1:57 there is a planet lit by two stars / 1 star 1 daedelus engine. Does this mean neutron stars. In addition the ksc screen shows that they are using the ksp1 skybox, but it may be a placeholder.
  5. So we got to see two new exoplanets including a totally locked one, what looks like the surface textures for Laythe, proof Ovin's rings will be cool and a better look at the lighting engine. The lighting engine appears to be like that of Simple Rockets 2, which is a reassuring sign that I won't need to buy a new pc, since I can run SR2 max graph 100 fps.
  6. Onward to 51!! 7. Licking uranium give you superpowers, that's why the government and round Earth society lie to you and say.it's dangerous. #doughnut shamed Earth society!
  8. Granted, but the goblin tries to eat Percy's rtg and dies from radiation poisoning. I wish there were stock clouds.
  9. What I think: Must have list that may prevent you from updating: KER, KAC, Transfer Window Planner. Almost essential, may be forged for really cool update: Bon voyage, Restock, Restock+, missing history, Tarsier Space (or science, can't remember) Technologies. Nice to have, should be stock: Kopernicus, Extrasolar, opm, Bumblebee.
  10. I just want to know what the community would decide if given the option. I do agree with Nate Simpson though, although another planet is something I personally want. Well ok, I sorta lied, I really think that by preserving the stock system, a lot of good features that they could have added are just not practical with this self imposed limitation (n-body*, small Jool moons, Dres moons, Lindor/Sarnus/GP2.) So I definitely have mixed fealings, but am also definitely on the keep it the same but change it a little and add new stuff mindset. Plus, it seems like squad had plans to improve the system but those never can to be. So maybe they should consider adding more planets in a future update. *It seems like there adding a hybrid n-body/patched comics system to make Rask and Risk work properly, but I think that a full n-body system will add better gameplay and be less complex to code.
  11. Waiter! Where's the Dres I asked for in my soup!
  12. In most video games, not wearing armor makes you a god at the game.
  13. sorry missed it, fixed now. Wait, just realized that due to the mobile screen size induced slip up (missed @Vanamonde's comment due to only being able to have one comment in view at a time due to screen size) @Commodoregamer118 guessed right!
  14. Banned for accusation of vagueness.
  15. I think (never tried it myself) that Kopernicus planets are easy to add because they're config based. So you don't even have to be very good at coding. However, the real skill and time comes from making good textures, surface scatteres, eve and scatterer support, etc. This is why there are a few well known planet packs (Beyond Home, Extrasolar, JNSQ, GPP) and visual packs (Astronomers, KSPRC, Spectra, SVE) and too many terrible space engine packs /stolen assets. So what would be really useful would be a place to download working planets to use as a base, and tools designed for editing large scale textures spheres, and editing Kopernicus configs. So let's say I want to add a planet called Dres in between the orbits of Duna and Jool. First I would go grab a config to add a copy of the Mün to use as my base. I would put the config in the planet editor and I could see it's surface and stats, I could rotate my camera, just like the map view and edit the stats to my liking. The I could use tools to edit the heightmap, color-map, ocean height, etc. And I would see the model change. Then when I was done I could just export in and download a zip file with the working planet config and drop it in gamedata. And if squad added stock Kopernicus support, which is long overdue and is almost a requirement in ksp2. Adding a custom planet editor website / application would be incredible. And not to give squad ideas, but it's so good that I would pay 15$ for.it and be a lot happier then just getting a few poorly made mod clones for the money (cough cough BDB, making history.) Although it probably wouldn't be worth it without eve and scatterer support. So a free, open source community made one would be 103 times better.
  16. Why would they want to do that? They have at least a year to add a few posts and skins. I expect we will get 2 or 3 more updates before ksp2. So even if 1.11 is too late in development for it to be made a SpaceX update, I don't see why they couldn't make 1.12 or 1.13 that.
  17. The rules were a little unclear, but do you have to make a replica or just a rover with a Duna/Mars helicopter. The rules say resembling, but how strongly does it have to resemble Perseverance.
  18. Same, more draw limit makes it worse, but it could also be a ram problem. Sincs eve, scattere ks3p and the new Jool shader may be too much for my pc. But doubt this since @Matt Lowne had it in stock 1.9 and what he describes at ~ 5:10 is exactly what happened to me and @Steven Mading:
