Can anyone help, i'm trying to launch an Atlas-Agena rocket however, I'm not sure how to use the Bossart skirt, when I launch the fuel from those engines that are in the skirt just use the fuel from the main tank, therefore there is no use having a jettisonable skirt. Is this really how it worked, the skirt was jsut detached at a suitable altitude as opposed to when those engines were starved of fuel?

Quick question, would this mod as well as RRSVE (if that’s what the textures are called) work with the most up to date KSP, or should I just update to a certain KSP then stop there. sorry if that doesn’t make sense.

I have uninstalled KSP and reinstalled and i'm using 1.7.3 and installed only the mods suggested, I have no other mods installed and nothing has changed...what am I doing wrong?

I have used this mod for a while and it is great, so I decided to incorporate the realclips for it, however, it worked for a while and when I needed to revert the flight back to launch, the chatterer mod suddenly stopped working and the microphone icon dissappeared. I have tried to restart the game and start a new flight, but it's still not there. Now I don't know whether this is a problem with the actual mod itself or the realclips mod? so I am having a bit of an issue with this mod, when I go to load a gemini rocket from the VAB from the bluedog design mod, the chatterer mod disappears from the task bar, but it was working before a went to launch with this vessel and when I try to go back and create a new vessel and launch, it does not fix the issue. For this mod to work, do I have to have all sound sets enabled as I have disabled most of them but Gemini to make it realistic but do I have to have all others enabled such as realapollo and the shuttle ones etc in order for it not to crash essentially? -

it now works thanks. However I have a new issue, is there any way of disabling the unthrottleable engines aspect of this mod, I am trying to do a realistic historical campaign however, the Vostok space craft I have created is completely out of control, I get to an AP of 80km+ within a matter of seconds and I speed away from the ground, almost as if time is sped up. I have tried to limit the thruster down to practically zero but this has done nothing to help it.- 2,215 replies

Afternoon all, I have got a bit of an issue with one of my craft that I have created (or rather copied). I am trying to do a real space progression with real parts etc, however, I have installed realism overhaul and it's great but I am struggling with the locked throttle with the Vostok space craft, I have had to bring fuel all the way down to practically zero and even then it's still too much, the engines are also completely overpowered and i'm reaching an AP of 80km in a matter of seconds. I have already tried to bring down the throttle limiter to, again, around zero but it's still way too powerful. If anyone else uses this mod please advise me on two things, 1)is there a way of disabling this aspect of the mod, and 2) if not on the previous, how can I slow down the engines so I am not blasting into space within seconds. I have installed the realism overhaul and I think it includes this mod with the pack. However, after learning that this mod is out of date at the moment, I tried to uninstall it only to find it's not actually in the gamedata folder or anywhere else in the KSP folders. Does anyone know if there is another way of disabling this mod? -

I have just downloaded and loaded all the correct required mods but now It just pauses on loading of the game, it gets stuck on Squad/Parts/Engine/jetEngines/jetEngineAfterburning/turbojet Is this something to do with this mod or something else?- 2,215 replies

ok disregard last comment, however I have a new issue. The Soyuz rocket that comes from the sub assemblies with this mod just flips over around 6,000m. I have created my own Soyuz craft that looks pretty identical to the real thing using all the parts from this mod however, upon reaching around 6,000m on a gravity turn, the rocket just starts pitching violently over to the right/left, what am I doing wrong?????

I am having a big issue with this mod. The Voskhod reentry capsule will not go slow enough to deploy chutes, I have tried every angle to get it to slow down but it simply does not slow down in time for chutes to deploy, instead it just collides with Kerbin. What am I doing wrong (I have never had this issue with any other craft I have built)

This is a very straight black and white question that seems pretty obvious the answer but I am really struggling...How do you launch to Duna? I have got into orbit then done an escape burn and find myself nearing Duna but I don't really know what to do from there. Should I do what you would with Mun encounters and burn retrograde or what??

yeah I can get the small tank into orbit, however I wanted to know if there was a way in which to launch the Kerbodyne_S3-7200_Tank and dock. -

yeah no idea what you mean, i'm trying to now send a smaller fuel tank up but still would want to know how to send a bigger one up there for future reference. -

launching the tank, I just don't seem to have enough fuel to into orbit, then I struggle with balance etc when I add more fuel tanks
