Also, I have a level two VAB (handles 225 parts) and still no progress on my tech tree since last time. Do you think, without a budget limit, I could make it to orbit?

I found out relatively quickly that all you have to do s align the aerodynamic overlay (center of lift) with the center of mass vertically and align center of thrust with the center of mass horizontally.

I also watch matt lowne and am still in the very stage you once were. I just launched my first working plane that can take of and land without exploding and can carry three experiments. It can travel twice as far as the island airfield and i only have the first two rows and aviation unlocked in my tech tree. My first ever flight was in Career mode. It was the Noob default command module, flea, parachute, double mystery goo combo. Nothing went wrong, and it was uninteresting, but fun, because I had just gotten the game.

I just built a working sience plane(two experiments) that can travel twice the distance of the island airfield with only the first two rows of my tech tree completed and aviation unlocked, with a lv1 spacelane hangar. Im proud of myself because im bad at this game
