    And I think that is the key point here. Established game, playerbase, and modding community. Unless something drastic changes, I think you're right that only minor improvements will be made with one last big "hurrah" coming up before ksp2 release. I imagine the focus will be on small additions and stabilization at this point in the games development. But that is only my opinion, for all I know all this making stuff pretty is prepping for some unknown phase 2.

    I am sorry for the faux pas.. but I had to use something as a lead in for my post I think it works great! This is just my opinion, but I think the kerbalized Wernher Von Kerman has my vote.
