While it would be a good idea, I think the KSP 2 team is past that part of development. From screenshots of the KSP 2 VAB, it looks like we will have non-procedural tanks. Maybe once procedural tank mods come out, you can download them.

I have lost track of my waiting days, but I want to make a giant colony on Rask or Rusk, then throw it into lava. Like that scene from Revenge of the Sith, but everything falls in.

I haven't stranded a Kerbal yet, but if I did I think I would rescue them, or just let them sing inside the tiny pod until the infinite food supply runs out.

Granted, but I don't even know what a baked haddock sandwich is, so a boat dock is wrapped in bread.
I wish KSP 2 would have a release date in 2022 announced.

I play nonstop for a while until I get bored of KSP. Repeat as many times as you need.

Since I don't play KSP as much as I did last year, I only have some small ones and a couple big ones. Also, I had no resolutions from last year.
1. Make Lego Set 60229 (Rocket assembly and transport) into KSP, the rocket, not the crane and stuff.
2. Maybe make lunar gateway
3. Continue my adventures through the Joolian system (land on vall and tylo), so that I am prepared for Moho, Eeloo, and Eve.
4. Not very related to KSP, but I want to continute to save money to purchase a gaming laptop that can run KSP, and possibly KSP 2

Maybe in the new 'progression' mode, you could have to build a telescope to discover planets

If you are playing on career mode, yes, launch multiple modules! Less risk of failure hauling a big beast into space, and probably more efficient. I didn't know that you were playing on career mode.

I am someone who just does one launch spacecraft to other planets, so my response might not be entirely what you are looking for.
If you are going to a place like Duna, Dres, Gilly, easy planets etc., then you can just use one craft. Maybe something like Tylo, Eve, and Eeloo could use something like the photo above. If you are going for realism, then it would be best to use modular travel crafts for interplanetary missions. Other than that, I recommend launching one craft to the planet of your choice.
