Not the colony, just the massive, colony-like rocket.

Matt Lowne XD * does a Tylo gravity assist to get to Minmus *
-
Yesss... A HUGE balloon to bring the rocket as high as possible for launch. Funny, maybe it'll work.

Seems a bit weird, but it seems changing the colors of /Gamedata/Squad/FX/plasma2.dds effectively changes the color of the ion exhaust. Then maybe changing /Gamedata/Squad/FX/IonPlume.mu with Unity will whange the look (but not the color) of the ion engine exhaust. Weird.
-
I don't know. Maybe with Unity but I'm not sure. If the FX is made out of particles, there's brobably a way to recolor them; it it's a group of images, it'll be a bit more difficult.
-
I'm also speaking of the FX It's very smooth, cloudy and nebulous, with a delicate shade of deep blue. Anyway, it's not a fact but my opinion. So it does not reflect everyone's thoughts.
-
Depends. Some people hate them, some love them. They are pretty efficient, thought.
-
That's the SRB FX ;D I think you'll have to use Unity.
-
Glad I could help. (ah, and ion engines with more or less thrust dependig on the Ice Cream used)
-
Hmmm, ion engine FX with diffeent colors depending of the Ice Cream used? Like mint exhaust from Mint Ice Cream, green exhaust from Pistacchio Ice Cream...

Yes! Just have to do a small animation of the thing hammering the ground, and done. What should be the uses of all these Ice Creams? Maybe kinds of custom fuel for custom ion engines.
-
It looks more like a hammer. No, the vacuum may be like one of the big, radar-dish-like antennas that can transmit far away. Like a huge (5-meter-diameter) V with the vacuuming stuff on the little platform above the dish. And, lots of drag so harvesting the resource is very very very difficult. (I edited my posts to give more info)
-
Be serious XD A vacuum is for gas and vapors -> for Jool. Eve's Oceans (blueberry syrup) need a pump. And the universal converter that converts Jool's vapors into ice cream to convert the syrup into Blueberry Ice Cream. The antenna-like harvesting thing an be used on Pol as a hammer + vacuum-like thing to get the Lemon Extract, which gives after going into the converter Lemon Ice Cream.

Me too Maybe I can try somthing, is it for mining particles, icons or drills/converters? Edited 1 minute ago by living mint ice cream drill on Blender
-
Cool! I suggest adding in v2 a "Pistacchio Vapor" harvester that gives Pistacchio Vapor from Jool's atmosphere. It's even more valuable because you'll need to stay and take care of your ship whilst it collects the Vapors as it is in atmosphere. You can then with a special part, convert the Vapors into Pistacchio Ice Cream, same as Mint Ice Cream but more valuable and powerful (and way more difficult to get). And, why not Eve -> Ice Cream and Pol -> Orange/Clementine/Lemon/Melon Ice Cream?

This is totally kerbal.
