Imagine five years from now. KSP2's music, godly visuals and maybe even improved performance. Paired with a community built engaging storyline that utilizes the descendant mod of kerbtown, used to build expansive and unique places to explore on the bodies around kerbol, requiring challenging and engaging crafts to be built. Off the top of my head, a cave system in a Valles Marineris analogue, Vall with a crack in it, leading into it's chemically messy ocean, (with beautiful parallax plant life in the icy ocean deeps.) Actual lava tubes to build bases in. Anyone else have any thoughts on the endless possibilities that still lay unfocused with KSP? -
Firing every single person who has been working on Ksp 2 for the past five years is a pretty clear move. That was corpo speak for "We'll do maybe one bugfix and leave the ip to rot."

Look's great, hiring BlackRack and Nertea show that despite taking a while, you all know exactly what you're doing. I know there's some serious doomer posting in r kerbalspaceprogram, but you guys are doing great work, if you get colonies out by summer with an improved science mode , this game will pull a No Man's Sky. I really think a kerbol system scaler would be a good improvement to add. 1.0 is vanilla, 2.7 is hard, 5.3 is nightmare. It adds incredible replay value and forces players to look more closely at some of the harder mechanics. IE: Gravity assists, orbital construction. Keep up the good work ya'll!

hi, whoever makes a config for volumetric clouds that have the functional weather, and clouds looking nearly as good as the RSS reborn config, i will paypal,etransfer, whatever them 80$ canadian. The config can be public. I just want volmets that work with my favorite planet pack that aren't bad. I know it's not alot, but you would do a good service and could get takeout tonight. pls?- 1,950 replies

I discovered this just after making the post, would anyone be interested if i made a config with the original idea in mind? I don’t think its possible to replace the engine audio, but maybe!

Has anyone considered making a mod that imports all of ksp 2s soundtrack and maybe even the rocket and staging noises into ksp 2? I think sound is the final frontier of ksp 1 modding yet to be perfected and I and I know many others who would kill to hear anything other than the current space music. Someone should do it, maybe I will. Are there limitations to this? Copyright or what not? Some thinking should be done on this.

Does this mod work? If i download it and start a career with some other mods am I guaranteed no save breaking or game breaking bugs that will keep me from having fun?- 1,950 replies

I got back from work and got on ksp an hour ago, after waiting through that century-long loading screen, I tried to get on my 200 hour JNSQ save. Instead of just letting me load in, There was red text, it said "argument cannot be null" Online it seemed like others have had this problem, the solution apparently was to delete my "perisistent.sfs" and "persistent.loadmeta" files, and rename my most recent quicksave files, quicksave#7's files, A .sfs file and a .loadmeta file to the names of the two files i had deleted. When I finished my prayers and the game finally loaded, A new green text appeared under my save. "save incompatible". When I try to load the save I'm informed that the save is incompatible with this version of KSP. It asks if i want to continue, I'm itching for a mun flyby, so i click yes and in the top right "Unable to load the save" appears in orange. A few notes: I have only ever installed or played 1.12.5.3190 of the game on this computer. While it is downloaded from steam, I have no internet connection and haven't had once since before i even made the save. So it is certainly not a version issue. I have no idea what to do, and just want to spend more time in the vab. Someone please! Save my save! I'll pay you!

I'm downloading the folder, labeled "KSRSS" from github, once the file is being downloaded its name is changed to "KSRSS-reborn.zip" and whenever I open it, either a rightclick or with winrar, i get an error message "Unexpected end of archive", however i still have the ability to view the file. When I try to extract it, I get another message "This archive is corrupt". Soooo is it a stretch to assume something may be corrupted?- 1,950 replies

Am I the only one who can't extract the mod file? I'd love to use this mod but I've gone through so many menus and installed so many dependencies, only for the files to be corrupted! Help?- 1,950 replies
