  1. The problem is condensing pages of information regarding the specifics on air resistance, displacement, etc. Is very very difficult, as these require calculations that people without a high school education (Or college) would not have the skills necessary for algebra, not everyone that plays KSP is going to be a wizz at algebraic formulas. Most people want to know why, and how this small design change could effect aerodynamics, and just having a tutorial only going "If Problem A occurs, do this" would not answer these questions, but then having these being answered would clutter the tutorial up with multiple subjects

Personally I think a balance between realism and gameplay is important for KSP 2, it is very crucial that realism doesn't cause someone to grow angry towards the game because whatever their designing isn't working and they can't find any digestible information for a specific problem they may have, but realistic enough that more serious users are able to accurately simulate their own designs in a more realistic manner. Like what KSACheese was talking about, specifically the fun aspect of KSP, keeping the game engaging for people of all ages is just as important as a realistic game, and it would defeat the whole point if we now need a mod for a less complicated aero model. Though this is just my own take on this question, I feel like having the game appeal to a wider audience would provide a greater impact, and also give a fun and enjoyable experience for everyone, I personally was inspired to play KSP after watching Thor LP's Insane Rockets Division series (If anyone still remembers that??)

I think by not having videos that show the completed version, and instead showing Pre-Alpha gameplay in it of itself builds up hype pretty well, by having people wondering about what the newest version is like. Personally I think having the three videos condensed into one is a more reachable idea, and also provides less confusion

  8. clicking on the + and - doesn't seem to effect it at all, and it seems like all radars are affected as well I'm gonna launch KSP and turn on the debug mode, and attempt to recreate the scenario and attach it to this reply soon
  9. haha sweet, im currently using a lot of mods atm, somewhere around 51-55? i have mods like FAR on it and some other assortment of engine parts
  10. Im not sure either, im just trying make fighters and i think the engines are a littleeeee bit too powerful, causing the excruciatingly painful and violent disintegration of their bodies a bit of a unplanned disassembly

Adding onto that trying to get my missile trucks to connect with my radar truck doesn't work properly https://imgur.com/a/PNPXeMb The radar receiver module connects with the radar, but it just shows "1KM" and doesn't display anything on the screen, however shooting the missiles do work Guard mode also freaks out when it detects an enemy aircraft and repeatedly locks on, then exits lock of an enemy aircraft, and missiles do not shoot Thanks, this worked!
  12. well I can see why you don't have memory issues, I should eventually get an upgrade for that lol On a side note, one of my recently made fighters has an issue where clicking on a weapon (such as a gun) doesn't fire when clicking, even with everything that's needed, changing out the weapons to a different gun doesn't help either, only this one has a problem for some reason (I am using the 10/21 update)

  14. Thanks for the advice, I double checked and I have a swap file that is pretty substantial (around 5 GB), but i will try enabling the options in BDA+
  15. As I recall correctly one of them that I have heard of is Jimmy's Aerospace Emporium and its Fighter Jet Roundtable events, and I have heard they have a pretty active community as well, though if anyone else has more groups feel free to add as well!
  16. Hmm, that's an interesting explanation. Is it because of KSP's engine? I have 16GB of DDR4, yet when KSP crashes from the lack of memory left to allocate my explorer process crashes and my desktop disappears Is KSPCF able to fix these memory leaks? I could have sworn that I installed it. Anyways thanks for all your help, much appreciated!
  17. Fair warning to anyone spawning additional aircraft, the memory leakage will eventually lead to KSP crashing, and I had to restart my computer a few times, hope this will get fixed soon! (Please check the following response)
